The situation has improved somewhat.Gone are the days of not that long ago, when an headline read in the Auckland Star I Spy A Northern Union Man.This was in relation to a charity Union game.The so called guy had to drop out of the game.

Another example with the NZ press being implicated! As most of the genuine fans of the game have noted . The repression of rugby league has been extensive and varied. Only with quicker means of communication(websites/Facebook etc) are these riduculous scenarios being exposed. HOW DO THE UNION DEFLECTORS KEEP THEIR UNSPORTSMANLIKE STANCE!? Will they continue to deflect and deny, even trivialize like the NAZIS did about the Holocaust? ! Only time will tell because rugby league is due a natural and uninhibited growth spurt!

We agree that that is part of the problem. However it's not wise to ignore the hegemonic goings on clearly happening against rugby league elsewhere? I do concur though that if rugby-league in Australia defied the policy of constrainment of the international game then many things would significantly improve. The evidence of what has happened against rugbyleague elsewhere should be a motivation for these people within Australian rugby league to improve this deplorable situation rugby league has and is facing.

In fact he has been dismissing the information as trivial and nothing out of the ordinary. So I call league Rugby or sometimes league I use them both pretty interchangeably.
I call union, union never Rugby. Am I a bigot? There’s no equality I can’t stand union and I come from a fairly anti union area and family.
