How do you find out what league you are going into ?
http://www.rembrandt.net/hattrick/

Go to 'League Tables' on the left menu, then type in what league you're in on the right . Then in the table that comes up, click the link under the Qual heading. The team that comes up highlighted in green is the one you either play in a qualifier or just straight replace. You for instance, will go into V.48.

You can also see your next opponent in the Oceanian Cup by clicking on the link under Cup.

Is the LU Cup being played this week???
Yep. Although only three of the six games have been organised so far. :? Next week will be the last week of the LU Cup, and then the Oceanian Cup starts up the following week.

ps. I hate, hate, hate double-posts, so consider one of MrC's deleted.

lol, I just went back and read the first 30 pages of this thread (I was bored  ). It's quite funny seeing some of the mistakes that were made, and seeing new managers starting out who have gone on to establish themselves as important posters. It was also amusing seeing how excited I was about getting some players who I wouldn't even look twice at now.

Congrats to everyone who contributed to making this thread one of the best and largest at LU.

Now that I'm back I guess I should start asking questions about hattrick again.

Is stamina training the best type of training during the off season? Does anything else go up as quick as stamina?

Also, I'm going up a div next season. V.38. Any tips??? What type of new players should I get? Incase you all forgot, my team is Narraweena FC.

Hey guys check out this!

Go to search in Oceania and type in the club name Waikato Chiefs and check out how many players this person has up for sale! he/she has like 20 players for sale, Cept most of them are pretty crap, And he is selling 3,4 players that he bought of me!

Stupid Idiot!

My team is coming along really well, the Southern Orcas came 3rd this season after taking over a month or so ago. I have gone hard in the Transfer Market picked up a Really good winger/wingback which had about over 1000 TSI (which is good for me!

Secured promotion on the back of an undefeated season last weekend and am looking forward to heading back up to Division 5. Will be very interesting to see how my teams copes with it. But i should be ALOT better prepared then my first stint...

Got a bit unlucky and think I;m going to struggle in my promotion to div 5. Seems to the top 4 teams all draw over 170 hatstats. My lads are lucky to get 110 on a good day. But hopefully I can win the winable games and do enough to finish 5th and hope to strengthen my team to have a better dig at the season after.

The first player would sell for a lot more. Probably about $100k if you're lucky.

If your playmakers need stamina training, then it's definitely the best option for the off-season. If they already have excellent stamina, then it's probably best to stick with your normal training or go for set pieces or passing.

I'm doing stamina training to improve the stamina of other players. One of them is a solid pm with only inadequate stamina.

all my young guys are inadequate or passable stamina.
so i'll be doing stamina training for this off season, maybe i'll do set pieces or something next season. who knows.
anyways i think i should definately be a chance of winning my division this season, although still have the weak trainer isnt a great thing, but i think i'll be able to buy him next economy update, so i've done pretty well for a team who never had that better trainer, but once i get the solid one i should excell evern further.. well hopefully!

Hey if you buy a player after your friendly game and before training, and he's played a friendly during the week for his old team, does he get your teams training?
