Well at least it didn't take 10 minutes of extra time to equalise
Chelsea must be spewing but Utd did us a favour by winning, if we can beat spurs we'll be 2 points out of the top 4

Oh well, a game we should of won, threw it away completely and then pulled back to draw.

Thought Webb had a shocker, Cahill should of walked for fouling Welbeck and Young had his shirt pulled back so we should of had another pen there. Don't know what the linesman was watching.
The two that were given were in no way soft. You can't kick the other team in the leg and then complain its a pen. Bad defensive play.

Other than that, all very pretty again in the middle but no one wants to shoot. Valencia did not try to beat his man once, to eager to pass back. I know its good to keep hold of the ball, but you have to try to do something with it every so often!

We had to go 3 down before we started playing properly. Very frustrating.

Oh and Jason, use your magic on Evra will you. The guy is a liability at the back, and its only when AVB took Sturridge off he looked in anyway good. In defence he was the root cause of all three goals.

I haven't seen the game yet so I can't really comment myself but a lot of press and fan reaction says that the penalties were very, very soft.
Not that I mind the result.
It's hilarious reading ManU fans responses on Facebook, they act as if they put in the performance of their life! Yep, after conceding two own goals and scoring two possiy questionable penalties.
I feel like saying to them - As soon as ManU go in a title drought, 80% of the glory-hunters will disappear and become City fans - roughly 60% of their overall supporter base. :p

Say it to them. Some will go, thats the nature of supporters. Some may ask what happened to the support when United got relegated. ;-)

Oh right. When was United last relegated? The 70s?
Because they were the modern phenomenon of glory-hunters back then

Well yeah, of course there was. Did/Do crowds in Aus not go up when a team was doing well?

Also not every fan since 1993 is a glory hunter you know. There is a thread in the main about it. Take it there and we will discuss further.

Well that was a good win.

Got a bit nervous at the end but thats about the way of it.

Thought we played some good stuff, Rafa has really stood up at right back, Scholes gave Gerrard a lesson in being a midfielder, Welbeck is progressing nicely and Rooney is Rooney.

I'd give a special mention to Evans, but as I'm the only person who thinks this guy is a good player it would be wasted.

We are beginning to click into gear now for the run in so should stay interesting until the finish.

Evans' effort on Liverpools goal was terrible. Aside from that he was barely tested as Liverpool offered very little in attack.

Very much so.

Dalglish threw that game away. Can't believe he waited until the 75th minute to bring Wade on, and 60th minute to bring Bellamy on. The Scousers lit up a little when they came on, and it could have been a different result if KD brought them on at half time.

Won't mention Carroll, did about as much on the field as he did riding the pine.

Daglish threw a game away that United were totally in control of?

I agree with HT re evans in some respect. He was at fault for that goal but he did show immense composure at times when playing the ball out of trouble.

Maybe Evans can defend then...

Evans is very composed at the back. Without doubt the best passer we have in defence. Still young also. He is only going to get better. Good times.

But i'm not going to argue, i'm happy to stand alone on this one and we'll see what the future brings.
