Well they'd want to hurry it up Eddie, because a few streaky goals aside they deserved to lose against Everton.

Bloody Hell, I put the mocker on us.

Knew we would drop a game sooner or later, didnt think it was going to be against west ham though. This puts a serious question on us, considering we still have a few hard away games to play.

The Champions are just warming up....

What the hell are you smoking boy, if it wasnt for 2 extremely freaky goals that if tried to be repeated would fail, chelski would have lost.

Warming up yea right the only thing there warming up is second place because there going to be sitting there for a while.

No point being cold right.

I had a feeling this would be the one we would trip in... Upton Park is a hard place to go, and it was their first game under Curbishley, which didn't help.

Full credit to the Hammers, they won and won well. And I bet there will be a word or two said about the result over Xmas lunch at the Ferdinand house too, just quietly!

The race is on in earnest now. The so-called "8 point lead" being sliced doesn't worry me too much, cos I reckon the boys in red are up for the fight this year. If the Russian's boys want to keep their trophy, they are gonna have to play bloody good football cos it ain't gonna be the cake walk it's been in past seasons...

3-0 CHRISTIANO RONALDO is on his way to becoming United's greatest ever midfielder, I dare say in a few years he will win the World player of the year award, this guy is unstoppable! The form player of the premiere league if not all leagues around the world.

Scholes scored the goal of the season so far, so stick that up your arse DROGBA, second half performace was a thing of beauty, i was amazed at the flow of United's game, good win, hopefully more to come.

Scholes' goal was a beauty... a Christmas cracker if ever there was one! A very pleasing win over a side that has been revitalised by a quality manager.

3-1, game wasn't televised but by all accounts the best player in the league Ronaldo had a cracker. So glad to have this guy on my side, he is a defenders NIGHTMARE!!!

Chelsea slipped up literally with an own goal, EDDIE must be devestated. Anyhow, these things happen, i won't be comfortable until the end of the season, football is a funny game, a bit of luck whether good or bad can change results and a team's season.

We made a lot of changes against Wigan, with Rio, Giggs and Gaz rested entirely and Ronaldo and Saha on the bench. Fairly scrappy game in the first half with Rooney still a long way from top form and missing a few chances, but Ronaldo came on and changed the game with a header on his very first touch.

It's actually quite interesting when you compare our squad to Chelsea's. People go on about how much depth they have, but we've actually got better quality and depth in the defence (probably the best in the world) and with Ole, Smith and Park coming back from injury, not to mention Henrik joining us soon and Rossi back from loan, we've got more depth in the attacking positions. It's only in the central midfield where they well and truly have us (and perhaps any other team in history) covered.

You Won't get any argument from me there.

Chelsea have their shortest sqaud in the 3 seasons Mourinho has been here. Many prayed for JT at the start of the season to play every game, as losing Gallas and Huth, with only the pathetic Boularouz as replacement was always a recipe for disaster if JT got injured. If Terry is out for any more then 3 weeks, imo Chelsea are very little chance of winning the title. He is that important, that inspirational.

Chelsea also have no recognised right back. With Ferreira badly out of sorts we have had anyone from Geremi, Essien and Boularouz try and fill in there, an unfamiliar position for each player.

Then Up Front We have the colossal Drogba. A badly out of sorts Sheva and a very naive Kalou. Crespo and Eidur would of played plenty of games this season up front and been invaluable.

The GK situation has been unavoidable. I Belive the loss of Petr Cech has already directly cost Chelsea 4-6 points since October.

If the team can scramble out of these Christmas fixtures with a 4 pint deficit it will be manageable. 15 days of League Cup and FA Cup give the injured players crucial time to recover. With hopeful Returns of Terry, Cech, Joe Cole and Robben in 3 weeks a renewed assult on the league remains possible.

agree agree and agree.

But there are only tougher times to come my comrades we are going to have to see the likes of a mr c. ronaldo play the way he did in our last match constantly even with a lack of depth chelski are hanging in.

What a goal by scholes best ive ever seen him.

Lets hope it all continues well for us.

Just Looking at the remaining fixtures.

Man U still have to go to Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

So they probably have a tougher 2nd half draw, then 1st half.

tougher 2nd half draw for sure and 6 points may not be enough but in the form we are in i think we should be able to extend the lead and win it hands down.
