Bingo. That's like saying someone who's been following the Broncos since the 90's and doesn't come from Brisbane is not a bandwagoner, but someone from Qld who follows the Dragons is a bandwagoner because Saints have won more comps than the Broncos.

But Saints have won nothing, Liverpool haven't been trophy-less for the last 20 years FFS.

And by your definition I would be entitled to stop supporting Parra and start supporting the Broncos as I am born and raised in Brisbane.

I nearly supported West Ham, I was close to jumping off the United "bandwagon" (that apparently I was on even though I had no idea of their success when I chose to support them, and they were trophy-less in the season before) and supporting West Ham. What I find ironic is that people would respect me more as a fan of English football if I had. I would somehow be a truer fan for abandoning my original team for another one.

To me that just sums up how ridiculous people are who like to call all United fans bandwagoners.

30 odd shots to 2 and 80% possession isn't luck. Sunderland tried to park the team bus in front of the goal and got what they deserved.

You can buy Man United shirts from TARGET, FFS!

Poor example as PDJ alluded to. St George haven't won anything since 1979, Liverpool's last league title was 1989-90 and since then they've won 8 cups and been almost a permanent fixture in the top 4.

As I said, anyone who supports one of the big 4 can be accused of being a bandwagoner. When you change your allegiance to Stoke then we'll take you seriously.

Thing is though if sh*t teams try to play football against the big guns, they're going to get murdered. A draw at Old Scaffold is definitely a hard point to get, so I don't blame them for trying to go for it.

Newcastle did it against Chelsea and Fulham did it against Liverpool recently to great effect.

Precisely

It's a management tactic which Scolari alluded to after the Chelsea v Newcastle game

For Man U a draw means two points lost, but to teams like Sunderland, a draw is a valuable point won

It's not going to win them the league, but it might mean the difference between staying up or not

No greater example of this then Sporting in La Liga. Went into Barcelona trying to play football, and got routed. In saying that, its alot better to watch then some of the garbage inferior English teams pull out when going into places like Old Trafford.

I think you're all bandwagoners in some way.

I dont see many Southampton, Everton or Middlesbrough fans on here. And certainly no Bbournmouth or Crewe Alexandria fans.

But you have the right to be. That's whats good about supporting a team in a comp on the other side of the world. You got to choose at some stage - hence why nearly all on this board support one of the big 4.

I on the other hand having grown up in a heartland football city of England had no choice but to support either Sheffield Wednesday or Sheff United.

Like a child growing up in Ethiopia i had no choice and have thus been starved of success since the Owls won the League Cup about 18 years ago and lost to Arsenal in two cup finals in 93.

 If you are so happy being a Massive fan then what do you or anyone else care about other people being a Man U fan?

For all you know and many others who have nothing better to do than come in here and bag us, I could be from manchester and been a fan for the last 36 years, that wouldnt matter though, because Its Man U they are all Bandwagoners. Fair enough, Im just going to conclude that your time will come and with the Arabs now calling the shots and players coming due to the dollars, Im sure in 5 years time you will be considered a bandwagoner as well, enjoy ;)

I've generally defended the guy, but ffs, Ronaldo is a blight on the game. I can't believe he wasn't sent off for stomping on Wilkinson, who was later sent up after a second yellow for a challenge on Ronaldo himself.

stomping? i think your confused with kicking out..i would to with the amount of sh!t ronaldo cops..he has a target on his head and im surprised he hasnt been injured more..its ridiculous, he wouldnt have to get annoyed so much that he lashes out if he gets more protection from the ref..
