Sosososo happy Lawler won.

But at best I feel he won the 1st and 5th. The 5th being the only clear round in his favour.

To be fair though Hendricks spent most of the fight with his head in between Lawlers legs with about 12 takedowns stuffed. Definitely not a 49-46 fight though. I had it 48-47 Lawler with Lawler getting round 1,4 and 5.

Hendricks looked pretty good on his feet with his leg kicks and combos don't know why he went the lay and pray approach for most of the fight

He said he got tired and couldn't keep up any more.

He said he blew out to 215 pounds when he was on the shelf and said the cut was tough and possibly why he gassed.

I agree that it could have been 48-47 one way or the other but Judge Glenn Trowbridge somehow gave round 2 to Lawler despite Hendricks landing almost 3 times as many significant strikes, this man should be sacked on the spot

What do you expect... I'm sure he was one of the clowns who judged the first Pacman v Bradley fight...

Good card about to begin on fox. Reem vs Struve, Diaz vs Dis Anjos, Mitrione vs Gonzaga, Dos Santos vs Miocic.

Interested to see how nate goes, complained about money, misses weight by 4 or 5 pounds, gets fined 20% and can't win a fight bonus.

How the f**k do 2 judges call the fight 49-46 ? Useless merkins. Thought JDS done enough in the end but it was closer then that.

Would like to see Machida V Rockoldt, have they fought before & who do you all pick?

Nah I'm sure their never fought before. I'd go Machida mainly because of his stand up and how elusive he can be when he is on his game. And I reckon he is looking more at home in the Middleweights too. How do u guys think Phil Brooks(CM Punk) will handle MMA at Middleweight ?

Jones proved again he is p4p the best in the world at the moment. If rumble or Gustafson can't stop him or test him I think it's time to go up to the big boys

I still think he is a complete c**k.What he did at the end by raising his hands in victory hen attacking DC shows he has no f**kn idea about class or sportsmanship. That aside I do think it is only his huge reach that make:oops:s him so hard to beat. His boxing skills are rigt up there with that of a 3 toed sloth.I know it is MMA not boxing but DC needs to get hold of some old vision of how Mike Tyson used to use a bobbing, lateral style to get inside fighters with superior height & reach advantages.

Bones did nothing wrong at the end. Still time on the clock and the bell hadn't rung for the end of the fight. DC needs to learn to protect himself at all times. He threw the pillow bitch slap after the bell not bones.

Haven't seen the fight, but thought DC was gonna walk away with the belt before the fight. What was everyone's take on the fight? Worth watching a replay?

It was definitely a fight worthy of a replay watch. I thought the decision was correct. DC had maybe the 2nd round but then he just clocked off and wasn't busy enough. He allowed Jones to play his game and ended up just stalking him around the octagon for the rest of the fight while Jones palmed him off. Occasionally he got in some great uppercuts, but he just wasn't working hard enough near the end, and Jones looked like he could have counter-punched him for a few more rounds. One thing about DC though - he has a chin of stone. A couple of those elbows would have stopped or hurt other fighters, but DC seemed to just shrug them off.

I didn't have a particular problem with what Jones did at the end. As has been said, fighters must protect themselves at all times. It's not a good look, but this was never going to be a respectful fight after all of the lead up. It appears the bad blood between these two might actually be real.

I really didn't know who I wanted to support in this one, as DC seems like an absolute dick, but Jones has lost that humble nature that gained him fans early in his career. The LHW division is starting to lose it's shine IMO and MW is becoming more the showpiece.

That said - Enter the Mauler.
