On another forum I post at theres a guy who uses PED's and he has said he doesnt know of anything else that could cause such a low T/E ratio in a healthy adult.

I'm sure by this time tomorrow we will know a lot more, but its not looking good for Jones.

Sick of this Conor McGregor hype train, how does the 5th ranked featherweight in the world 'earn' a title fight if he beats the 10th ranked featherweight when Frankie Edgar who's higher ranked absolutely dominated 2nd ranked Cub Swanson only a few weeks ago?

Connor is awesome... He brings excitement to the division... There's a lack of valid challengers at FW so a hyped up challenger is good.

Other than Connor there's nothing else at FW for Aldo... That's why there's been so much talk about Pettis.

The problem is that no one wants to watch Frankie fight Aldo again...

while the first fight wasn't a drubbing... Aldo was never in danger of losing that fight...

Connor keeps winning and keeps winning impressively... He just destroyed a guy who while he's ranked 10... He's a veteran fighter who's world class on his feet... And he was absolutely destroyed in his area of strength... It was impressive stuff.

I can understand hating the guy because he's too cocky or too brash... But you can't ignore his skills.

The way he's dispatched his opponents has been scary. Especially the last 2.

What skills he missed most of his kicks and was able to jab a guy not willing to get in close..

This was a typical build up the favorite fight feed him a "Veteran" of the sport then get him to challenge the champ..

It was funny though the amount of times he was easily made to fall down though tonight :lol:

He controlled the range with footwork and he controlled tempo with his timing... He lit him up with that straight right over and over again.

He hit him with the high kick frequently... He hit him with a switch kick and a flying knee...

And we need to remember... This wasn't against a guy with no stand up...

He did this to a veteran with a stand up background

We know McGregor is world class on his feet but the UFC keep handing him tailor made opponents, he hasn't had to fight anyone who would provide a stylistic challenge, the guys he's fought are one dimensional stand up guys, he's hasn't fought anyone who can actually wrestle, in fact he hasn't fought anyone who's actually a title challenger. To me a number one contender bout against Frankie would've been a more fitting next fight

100% agree...

And TBH... Frankie has done enough to be Aldo's next challenger.

But it comes down to dollars and cents... The UFC stand to make five times as much from Aldo v McGregor I than Aldo v Edgar II.

In an ideal world where money doesn't matter... Frankie would fight for the title and Mendez v McGregor would be co-main.

Connors hype sells PPV's... Him losing to a wrestler reduces that hype and literally costs the UFC millions.

They are striking while the iron is hot...

It's an interesting position for the UFC...

I think Aldo is a far better match up for Connor than say Chad Mendez.

I could easily see a situation where Connor proves himself to be the real deal standing up and beats Aldo for the title... Then I could see him get absolutely wrestle-f**ked over 5 rounds by Mendez in his first defence.
