Just imagine how further ahead of the Dally M field he would be in if he completed 6 to 8 full 70 minute games a season

Now the irony is even when fit to play he’s missing games.

I’m sure they’ll try to shop him around to another team in the off season for his last year at the Club.

No excuse for some of the shit he has served up in defence recently. However, in his defence to an extent, he signed here to play 5/8 to take over from Maloney and played pretty well for the majority of 2018 getting to a prelim that year. Then Flano goes and signs Johnson, so he gets shafted back to fullback where his body let him down. I’m not saying the Johnson signing was bad, but maybe moyza had a feeling his body wasn’t up to playing fullback when he left the panthers and signed with us. Some of his defensive efforts have been comical, but I think it’s pretty obvious he has absolutely no confidence in his body. You can see he’s just waiting for his hamstring, calf, quad, heart, arm whatever it is to go.

I don't mean to keep defending Moylan (I don't rate him that highly), but this is the problem with our usage of him, in the same way that we bungled the Barba signing in his first couple seasons. To be fair on the coaching staff, we got f**ked around by Barba & Holmes so the plan went out the window... but if you do throw $850k at someone, you need a clear-cut plan for them, especially for someone like Moylan who (despite what Channel 9 wanted us to believe around 2016) is still finding his game. Moylan had to come in, be given the 6 and have two or three off-seasons working for a five-eighth's game and body... he got given the 6, pushed to fullback, broke down, back in the 6 etc... he's never been a utility.

I think Bomber wants and needs him as a fullback but has had his hand forced. IMO he's odds on for an early release to the Dogs as a 5/8

Would Broncs go for swap Bird for Moylan.

About on same $$$ Bird might come good for us, we would be no worse off both in last year of contract 2021

I would love Birdy back. Unfortunately for Birdy, i think his body is in worse shape than Moyza so i doubt we would risk it. It's a shame because he has bucketloads of ticker and competes for every scrap, which is what we need most.

Frenzy.

Anybody confirm he wasnt at the ground today?
Stayed home?
Spat it?

Could he have played his last game for us?
Kennedy's our 1 and Moyza would be 4 in line - if that - for a half spot.

Bomber cant play him as he leaks too mnay points in D.
Townsville?
Leichhardt?
Newtown?

Hopefully he has spat the dummy.

He plays in a dinner suit.

Time to find another Club.

That run of 4 games back from his most recent extended injury rehab where he was lights out MOTM... Massive effort to go thru that rehab & come back to a less favoured position (FB) and then string that together.

After being almost written off, he turned it around & earned my full respect. 100%. Thought we were going to finally see the real-deal $850K Moyza. Then ‘ping’.. Nobody wants or tries to get injured. You gotta feel for him.

But the stark reality is that his body just ain’t up to the $850K price tag. No way he should be picked ahead of Kennedy, even if fully fit.

Club can’t afford to invest $850K in an occasional sub. I feel for him, thank him for his time with us and (hopefully) wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Moylan should go to the ESL. He could put his game and body back together. I think he would be real hit over there but in the halves ,not at FB.
