Still dining off two good months of football five years ago. And as we found out last year, when someone in the Tigers boardroom has the temerity to speak up and ask that Tom Shines proves himself, he gets shafted.

Your situation is a little like how rugby league is run and managed.

NRL CEO had no management experience but was appointed because the game's owner knew him.
Annesley was a policeman and a referee.
Ian Schubert played footy in the 70's.

You own CEO got his job because his dad was one of the good ol' boys - albeit fraudulent.

Rugby league hasn't changed much in the last 100 years. It's always been a case of "it's not what you know..."

Sheens has Arana Taumata in his roster. I'm sure he's not injured? He's a talented player and has proved it in the handful of games he's had in the NRL. I'm sure he and Marshall would make a wicked halves combination. I don't know why the Tigers signed this kid if they don't give him a chance. I also agree with Hybrid, why get an awesome hooker (Farah) to play an ordinary game at halfback?

Taumata played 2 games of State Cup before succumbing to an ankle injury he picked up in the trials.

He only made his comeback last week off the bench

Do you think Bennett would get this current Tigers side to the 8 of a 16 team comp?

He would get them top 4. Tigers have a good squad even with Lui, Moltzen injured. Taumata un-used. Lazurus is ok. Against Penrith last week Lazurus, Farah, Fulton, Fitzhenry, Flanagan all played 1/2 back at various stages during the game Having a new 1/2 every 10mins wont help get the team a half.

Also outside backs on the bench WTF. The Roosters possibly as Carney can go to the 1/2's but thats asking to lose. Atleast 3 forwards and maybe a interchange hooker at the minimum shouild be benches these days

They need to give Lazurus more game time. They can't expect a rookie to play perfect in his first few matches.

I agree, he has only played halfback for half a game, if you watch the Dogs game again most of the second half he was NOT playing halfback and against the Panthers he played fullback.

Sheens loves shuffling players out of position and it cripples us.

Exactly. Pick a 1/2 train them through the week even if they want him just to feed Benji the whole game. Wests and Balmain 1at and 2nd in NSW cup so they have options

Correct. This week the great man picked the Wests halfback (Nathan Waters), and played him for the last 20 minutes...at hooker. All while our number one hooker was playing halfback.

You can't make the sh*t up, honestly.

Be glad you didn't have to see Waters at half hybrid. Be very glad.

He has a worse passing game left to right than anyone in our forward pack

Exactly. You guys looked so much better when Farah finally went to hooker. Even a token 7 to just pass and Have Farah and Benji playing their natural game you guys should still win most games.

To top that great selection off Brown was on the bench. IF there was 3 forwards and Ayshford or someone was going into the 1/2's it may of worked but no. When Payten was fit put Moors on the bench instead of Brown 1000 times better bench

Sad thing is Moors warmed up with the team.

Just as a tease

Watching the warm up I was sure that Brown was going to drop off the bench for Toddy. Instead he drops Flanno back to the bench. Our bench on Sunday:
-A rookie prop
-A rookie lock/5-8
-A debuton halfback/hooker
-A hack winger (not used)

He hasn't been able to pick a decent bench in years. Back in 08 we lost Galloway a few days out from the game, so he replaced him with Stuart f**king Flanagan (we lost our best meter eater and have him replaced by a hooker with tunnell vision).
