Seeing as Misanthrope and I seem to be the only ones who utilise this part of the wrestling forum, I thought I'd give my thoughts on his latest TNA diary attempt, in a little more detail, in the hopes that it may persuade others to view and hopefully comment on what they like/didnt like - that is what really drives BTB writing, interaction!
The backstory
Frightengly realistic to be honest, and we can all se this happening. The solution, however, is something that TNA will not deserve should they fail. They dug their own grave etc. However, Chris is a forgiving sort of chap, and he's given them six weeks to sort their sh*t out.

TNA iMPACT
Segment One - Heyman debuts
Brilliant. Paul E. is one of the great minds, and great onscreen characters of the business, and having him show up at the dawn of a new era (though it reeked of WWECW - not a bad thing may I add) iwas written well. His interaction with Flair was kind of meh, to be honest. However, it served its purpose - setting up the main event for the pay per view coming up (cool name by the way, I own an ROH titled Reborn, which is brilliant...intersting piece of trivia
) and AJ entering at number one is a great little addition two. In true Heyman fashion, we get an awesome openeing match up.
Segment Two - Daniels v Styles v Joe
Can't comment on the match write up, as it was non existant, but I dont care, we've seen enough of all three to know this would be a fantastic reintroduction to what the REAL TNA stands for. Joe to fued with Styles perhaps? Cant wait for what the two get up to in their Rumble, I mean Gauntlet (come up with a name that doesnt reek of Russo, my challenge for the day ;-) ) build up/match itself.
Segment Three - Debut of John Layfield
Shocking to say the least, I was half expecting Jim Ross. But this is better. This is good. I like Bradshaw behind the desk, he reminds me, and Im sure is inspired by, Jess the Body Ventura. Commentary gold.
Segment Four - AJ/Flair hanging out backstage
Didn't like it, but at the same time, it is something that TNA would do as it follows on from where they have been going with Flair mentoring AJ and I actually enjoyed it because of its realism! Also nice building up to the Gauntlet once more.
Segment Five - Everyone wants a slice of Heyman
People asking the questions everyone legitamately wants answered - I like it, though would prefer if Nash wasn't in there, did you run out of available talent on the sim? Foley/Heyman interaction was ok, though would prefer if Foley didnt get back in the ring though if you manage to build something creative from it, and I think you will, it does serve a good purpose. Glad Roode got some airtime though.
Segment Six - Booker T returns
Nice little surprise. Well booked too, nothing fancy and so it shouldn't be.
Segment Seven - Foley v Roode, Hardcore match
I'm sure it would have stunk, but I'll give you credit that its not on PPV and saw the debut of Tommy, great little segment. Sucks that Foley went over Roode though, I would have went for a Roode win, and after a beatdown from BMI, have Tommy run to his aid. Are you setting up an ECW invasion maybe? If so...Raven pleeeeeease hahahaha
Segment Eight - The Band
They're still on my screens, it served a purpose and both are good on the mic, I dont care what anyone thinks! But...shouldn't Nash have featured here?
Segment Nine - GOLDBERG!
Goldberg demolishes Scott Hall - I, and every other TNA fan, can dig it.
Segment Ten - Goldberg kills Waltman
Yup, classic Goldberg squash and he wipes out Waltman. Awesome.
Segment Eleven - LAX v MCMGs
More exhibitioning of what TNA stands for. This match would have been fantastic, and I have no problem with the Guns going over here. Both play face, and I suspect we will get a heel team or two for them to fued with. I suspect Londrick, which would be veeeerrrry cool.
Segment Twelve - The Pope/Booker T confrontation
Everything about this was awesome. Pope makes a humourous suggestive comment toward Sharmell, cue: Booker catchphrase. More Pope suggestiveness, cue: Sharmell hissy fit and she wears the pants. Pope challenges Booker at Rebirth, though we done get his answer, setting up for more interaction next week. Probably the best thing about this diary atm, and thank f**k hes not in the main event - he doesnt deserve to be. I hope Booker gets some heat though, I cant see him playing face if they fued.
Segment Thirteen - Angle/Hardy/Abyss v Sting/Anderson/Wolfe
I liked the use of video packages to hype the guys people wont know, and the teaming them up with veterans/household names is a very good move. The match itself wouldnt be much, but it would be a good television main event. Another "Why Sting Why" moment to lead to the conclusion, which does my head in but at the same time I give you credit for continuing on with what TNA has been doing. Faces going over always goes down a treat on a debut episode too, well done.
Very enjoyable read Chris, well done. I suspect the Rock will join Foley in some way which would provide a DYNAMITE fued with Beer Money. Who else will debut? Hmmm, depends if you've stolen any WWE guys, though I guarantee Monty Brown will be there!
