Children should be exposed to gay people, boys who wear dresses, girls who identify as boys, and any other LGBT+ because otherwise you are sheltering them from something and telling them it’s wrong.

Probably true. Gay shaming is no different from s**t shaming. It's a social mechanism that limits exposure to unhealthy temptations. Think of it like not drinking in front of recovering alcoholics.

Yeah I agree. I don't have children but I feel what they get exposed to now at a young age is a bit frightening.
I feel the rot started with American TV and the way they would glorify certain characteristics. I am not talking about homosexuality here. But in the 90s children where protected from things they didn't need to see. Now it is in their face. No wonder so many are confused.

None of those things you have mentioned are anything close to the same as LGBT+.

Standards and values are absolutely 'contagious'. A child that is taught to control their sexual urges will grow up to behave very differently to a child that is taught hedonism as a virtue. Likewise, anything taught to a child as shameful will impact their feelings around that thing for the rest of their lives. They might even grow to fetishise it, which is fairly common with sexuality.

Plenty of people feel the same about religion, or about children. Are they bigots too? People should be free to not like the things they don't like. If we're not constantly promoting the things they don't like they would never feel the need to speak up. Ergo, promotion of this stuff is what's toxic. Let's not shove children, religion or sexuality in merkin's faces and then we never need to hear how they feel about it. Simple.

Exactly. Do you feel 'PROUD' about your sexuality or beliefs? Of course not. Why would you be? I respect people’s right to be religious just like I respect peoples right to be gay, trans or whatever you like. What I do have a problem with is people when they push their beliefs on me when honestly I couldn’t give a toss.

But there had been an agenda for years promoted by the mainstream media. Look at how they have gone after a massive lefty like J K Rowling because she has a different opinion on one topic?? Lol. You could however choose to completely ignore it and not watch it, therefore it is not being "shoved in your face" as you say.
I didn't listen to Alan Jones. I don't read the Telegraph. Therefore, what they both said/say and wrote wasn't shoved in my face. I was/am blissfully unaware of any of the shit they pedal. Nothing is being shoved in my face because I choose to ignore what I do not want to read or listen to.
The same with shite like MAFS. My ex and kids love it, but it isn't my cup of tea. I've never watched 1 minute of any episode because the whole pretense of the programme I find shameful. Once again, I distance myself from such shite and don't feel it is being shoved in my face.
