How was Hits & Pits, Scotty? Were Mad Caddies as awesome as always?

Yeah Mad Caddies were awesome. Good Riddance was dissappointing IMO, the band seemed keen to be up there but I just didn't feel it. A Wilhelm Scream was pretty good, hadn't really heard them apart from a few songs before Sunday but enjoyed it.

Glow Skulls was unreal. Saw them last night too at Crowbar and that was even better. Check my facey for pics with the Casillas dudes! f**k I had so much fun last night haha!

Was that when they kicked a bloke off stage for doing a 'hitler salute' saw it on you tube but never picked out the guy doin it. Just saw people beating someone up

Bummed that the Canberra Hits and Pits show is so much shitter than everywhere else. Less bands, shorter sets and same price.

Still, I get to see Mad Caddies and VGS without travelling to Sydney so I guess I can't complain too much.

Scotte was no good? Shame, I've always liked ODS, was excited when they were announced as part of the line up, but disappointed when they clarified that it was a solo acoustic set.

Flatiners again on the 2nd at the Annandale, Pennywise and Face to Face on Friday the 5th at the Roundhouse and thinking of going to Dropkick Murphys and Frank Turner on Monday the 1st at Luna Park. Meant to be saving money haha

Yeah. Was actually pretty good despite the warnings here.

Mad Caddies and VGS were awesome as expected, didn't really get into the other bands too much, just wasn't feeling it I guess although still good background music to drink to.

I havnt heard much of Daves solo stuff but loved ones are great and he has such a cool voice

His solo stuff is pretty good, he's on the amazing Revival Tour album with Chuck Ragan, Dan Andriano and Brian Fallon. Ragan's probably the stand-out but Hause has some good songs.

Will be weirdly frustrating this year to have seen The Lawrence Arms and Dave Hause when The Falcon and The Loved Ones are two of my favourite bands

Seen Twelve Foot Ninja last night here in TVL, f**k knows what genre you can class them as but they are f**king brilliant live.

Awesome aussie prog/metal/dub. I missed their tour (as I hadn't listened to them at the time) but their first full length is one of the best things I have heard for a long time. Hopefully they continue touring this year to support the album and I have the chance to go.

How were Dropkick Murphys? Their last two albums have been pretty crap, sorta think they're past their prime but wouldnt have minded seeing them live. What about frank turner?
