Yeah I've got Madball Tuesday and managed to score a ticket to Neil Young for March 10th. he's not really Punk or Hardcore but I thought I'd give it a mention. So stoked to finally see him.

Just back from SOIA & Madball. Pretty sweet gig overall. Madball owned the night definitly and seemed to take all the punch out of the room for SOIA. The brawl in the middle of Madballs set is something I could've done without.

Thought SOIA were pretty good but it seemed no one was really up for them bar a few in the pit and it seemed Lou and the fellas knew it.

It was even pretty quiet during Madball, it was odd. SOIA should have just got on with it, asking how we're doing every 2-3 minutes isn't going to work. Small crowd, big room doesn't help either. Still a good show though, particularly Madball.

Yeah was a tad flat all gig wasn't it. Madball were sick and probably should've headlined IMO. Thought SoIA played a pretty sweet set.

Brisbane Flogging Molly show was awesome! Best show I've seen them do and I've seen them 6 times since 2006. They did a cover of Folsom Prison Blues during the encore as it was Johnny Cash's birthday. Had the chance to experience Lawrence Arms for the first time and they were fantastic. Biggest disappointment is that Lucero only got half an hour. Me and my friend got talking to their drummer at the after party in Melbourne and asked when they'd come back for a headlining tour where they are notorious for playing for up to 3 hours! Flogging Molly played for 2 hours in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Anyone going to the Hits and Pits mini festival? Think ill go just to see The Flatliners again because I don't think they will have a chance for a sideshow
