I can’t see Deardon leaving QLD, stays at cowboys or goes to broncos post Reynolds or GC

Good point. And this is what's confusing me with ours.Still pretty impressive to come in and completely wipe a disfunctional self-centred board/ceo out in your first week... you can understand why our board didnt want a bar of him despite Ryles request.
Well if we are then there are no excuses any more that we don't have the players for 2024.
We have Flanno.
I’m sure Flanno will be on top of the pathways. You would have to think that AFB is going to the Dragons, I read an article on the NRL website that the Sharks are focussing on junior development and not so much on big marquee signings. Mind you I also think that we should be doing the same and not let our pathways go astray like they have in the last few years. Who knows really what is going on behind the scene, we have given him a really good offer.
Yes Dolphins are interested apparently. I am sure there are more. Make it happen FlannoI'm anxious now that Mam & Luai are off the market, that could mean many more eyes on Dearden.. imo we havent offered enough to him in the current inflated salary market.. but it may be issues other than just dollars going on.
Definitely dissapointed these signings look to be pushing out to 2024.. I thought a couple of weeks after Nov 1st it would all be wrapped up.
I am worried about the sharks as they have players to tradeThe Dearden one will require patience. His manager said he won't be rushed into making a decision and will wait until during the season to make that decision. The Bulldogs will go hard for him too I would think now that Luai is off the market. Good news I believe will come on AFB soon enough, probably in the new year. We're going to have to sort out with the Warriors what they get in terms of compensation, but I'm confident we'll land him. Luki is another one I believe we'll land.
The Ten day cooling off period would have expired by now on the Twiggy thing if it was true and nothing. I think maybe they are on the back of our shirts for now and its just a possibility they turn into a major sponsor later. Nothing is confirmed.Good point. And this is what's confusing me with ours.
Our BOD's actions over the years are well documented, yet supposedly Australia's second richest person and the Dragons have entered into a financial arrangement that has the potential to catapult us into a powerhouse brand. So why the deathly silence? I'm a little nervous tbh.
I hope so, but the general consensus here is that he is chasing dollars with little regard for other factors, doesn't sound like the typical mentor type.AFB will be a great mentor for the many superb up and coming young gun forwards we have
Sound familiar DD.being the highest paid player at the club, the other players will be relying on him doing plenty of work on the field - "hey mate, your getting the big dosh, you can work harder" and he might very well just go through the motions.
No worse. AFB will give us his monies worth every year of his contract.similar paying 1mill x 6 for Hunt from 2018 hoping he would be the messiah
Yes. Tigers will be over paying Luai who is not worth the $1.2M a year and he is overated.Tigers forking out similar coin for Luai six years after we signed Hunt. Shows you how much overs we paid for the over rated sook back then. One of our clubs greatest faux pas in the past decade.
We hope.No worse. AFB will give us his monies worth every year of his contract.
Spot on DD.Yes. Tigers will be over paying Luai who is not worth the $1.2M a year and he is overated.
