Uh oh... put the porch light back on?

Cronulla Sharks being investigated over possible salary cap breaches

THE Cronulla Sharks’ premiership campaign has been rocked by revelations the NRL’s integrity unit is investigating the club for potential salary cap breaches on the eve of the finals series.

Integrity unit forensic investigators arrived at Sharks Leagues club three months ago after the club’s new chief executive Barry Russell conducted an internal review and found suspicious payments dating back to 2015.

The Daily Telegraph understands the amount involved is around the $250,000 mark but could go higher once thousands of documents have been examined.

Although one Sharks official admitted: “Now they’ve taken our server, we don’t know what they’ll find.”

In other news, the Roosters are fine though, still a million under.

Macquire, Hasler & Griffin all available now. Toovey,Henry and Barrett also available. Bennett looks like won’t be coming, see out 2019 then retire. In other words half a dozen coaches - Walters does nothing for me.

Can you clarify "Herbert not signed" are you saying we are not interested or has he brushed us to go to Warriors, cause he never got an opportunity??? I would be dumbfounded if we didnt offer Herbert a contract..

We get flogged 38-0 and still no changes??- even if Herbert is fed up and leaving, he's been the standout ISP player, not just this year, but in previous years as well. Wouldn't any coach with a grain of common sense get rid of that touch player Dufty and give Herbert a chance to strengthen the position? Is there no limit to Mary's insanity?

I was just having a browse through Newcastle's forum and someone said that his mate had heard that Pangai Junior was leaving Brissy and going to the highest bidder. Canberra and Newy were both mentioned as clubs going big for him. If it is true, then Easts may be big players in his signature too. We should be one of the clubs going big for him. He is without doubt one of the best young forwards in the comp. I would even say he is better than any froward we have right now and he can play lock, second row and prop. I think lock could be his best position.

I still wonder if Bennett leaves Brissy at the end of the year, will he take Pangai with him?

Isn’t it funny how many people have gone off Dufty so quickly?

I warned a lot of folk that Dugan would be missed, and it was a dreadful mistake by McGregor/Millward to let him leave.
