No wonder his performance was way below par , and there is a deepening divide amongst the playing group
ABC Radio were all over it
Only way this will end is both Hook and Hunt will be sent packing
The looks on their faces in the pressor this afternoon , of the winning Coach n Captain said it all

Either way, he is his own man and has his future to consider. Club loyalty isn't business.

Ben Hunt has been the difference in so many of our wins this year, the season would have been worse (yes, even worse) without him. Wooden spooners, probably... and if that happened heads would have rolled. Does anyone on the board or management care that Hunt has saved their arses? Not really, it's business.

How is that guys like Gus go talking to anyone and its news for all to ponder and wonder what, who, where? Why aren't these same rumour mongers giving out stuff about what other scouts, recruiters, football managers etc are talking to. Why Gus? Is he the be all and end all of this joke of a competition it is turning out to be.

I'm sick to death of the bloody news about Gus, Gus, Gus. I don't care if he gets the State of Origin side, 'cause if he does, he would ruin the competition no end just to serve his selfish purpose.

....and by the way, it's about the club you follow and not the player(s).
Like with the other clubs, you win some and you lose some. Lots have been said that Hunt has been good and yes he has, more so this year and maybe a bit last year before he got injured, but when a pretty good player plays in a team that isn't that great, he stands out.

If he wasn't in the team for much of this year, another player I'm sure would have stood out. You can name one for yourself.

I don't gamble and I am not always right. As a matter of fact, my heart is more dominant than my mind when it comes to the Dragons. But all indications are that the Dragons want to keep Sullivan long-term and Hunt wants to finish his career on big dollars. So, I can't see the Dogs being able to afford Hunt without losing Kyle Flanagan and the Kyle Flannagan / Sullivan halfback situation giving us good depth in the halves. And just to seal the deal, It might just prompt Shane Flanagan to agree to become our head coach.

To agree to become head coach, you'd have to be offered. So far he's been sacked by the Dragons, turned down by the Dogs, twice, the Tigers & Warriors. I think we can rule out Flanagan being appointed.
