Agree. But I also think he is not a 900K player either and believe that is too much for himIf Roosters are after him, we can kiss this deal goodbye.

I'd even piss off the Sook to give him a go at 7 ....... I'm completely over Hunt ......If we're after some depth at halfback.. could do a lot worse than this guy (who is off contract). NSW Cup player of the year 2023
Hawkins on the hunt for more honours
Dean Hawkins has one NSWRL award and wants another - the NSW Cup premiershipwww.nswrl.com.au
Thanks very much justa. I am grateful for everything that has come my way and every day on this planet is a bonus. You take care as well and make your opinions be heard loud and clear and yes, next year, the tide will turn for us Dragons faithfuls. You take it easy old mate, at least you gave the gaspers UP !!! And remember any day above ground is a good day, hopefully the Dragons can put a smile on your face next year.
Yes that big blonde haired guy Thomas Flegler who will add a bit of starch to the forwards at the Dolphins but can also give away plenty of penalties and six agains with his over enthusiastic play. Good luck to them.Too right mate, that deal was done a while ago, I think there is also a Bronc forward going to the Dolphins aswell.
When I think about if this happened or if that happened and look at the actual outcomes, yes, this year we did lose a few from this and that and maybe if we had this and that happen, the ifs and buts mean absolute shite in the end. Other teams can say the bloody same and they didn't make it.
It's like so many other things in life when doors open and others close or opportunities go begging. You have to take the good with the bad and yes, we are having a lot of bad but in the circle of life, that will turn around one day.
I keep saying to myself over and over and over that if I didn't smoke I would be in a better place with my health and not have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which I have reached a level of serious with now. Rehab is helping so that I don't reach the critical level too soon.
So, the what ifs and maybes we can think about, but I think that until the real issues are examined and the problems fixed, us turning things around will drag on.
We are getting closer, I am sure, to finding out who we will be getting to help us out of this dilemma and give us a realistic hope of actually making the top 8.
Thanks a lot Tru. I'm not ready to wear one of those saintly halos just yet. The Dragons have unfinished business to attend to.Stay well big fella.
You're a goodun. Hard as nails and Saints through and through.
This has just been announced on a member’s email from Ryan Webb.
“I’m pleased to announce that Shane Millard has been appointed as the club's Recruitment and Pathways Manager. Shane has worked in the Dragons’ pathways system in the past and since then has been involved at the Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers and Bulldogs. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts throughout the game and we look forward to having him join us.”
That’s the bloke that Ryles wanted to bring onboard with him as part of the package to look after Pathways. This has just been announced on a member’s email from Ryan Webb.

Ryles did want him.I am not sure what to make of this.
Did we pinch him from Gus or was he let go as he only been heading their pathways for a year or so?
Coaching has only been bits of lower grade stuff so nothing great there
I know he his local to Wollongong, but I dont think he has worked with Flanno before so who head hunted him?
I have to only assume that this is a Flanno appointment....I hope.
Welcome to the Shane and Shane show.
Surely they wouldnt have appointed him without Flanno being on board, Ryles did speak highly of him, plus Souths and bulldogs pathways were both in great shape.I am not sure what to make of this.

He did not work at Souths pathways I dont think?. he coached their reggies side a few years ago when Mat Head was coaching us.Surely they wouldnt have appointed him without Flanno being on board, Ryles did speak highly of him, plus Souths and bulldogs pathways were both in great shape.
Yes! And we also lost some games because of our poor last line of defenseIn the first half of the year we lost a number of games because Lomax's kicking was off.
We lost at least four games due to wrong refs calls ( and I mean howlers that turned the game).
We lost or did not win a couple due to Hunt's poor game management.
The fullback was not the deciding factor in many of our losses.
