Ronald Volkman reportedly gone.. medical examination found a previous injury and he's going to need season ending surgery. Contract was never officially lodged with the NRL apparently, so it won't be lodged and we are not going to keep him around.

Here we are saying that Flanno will have to get the team we have (yesterday's news) to become fitter, stronger, play out the 80 minutes strong and now we lose two of those players today and who knows who we will get as replacements. Will we get anyone and is that anyone not injury prone for heavens sake.

No pressure , little expectation from the scribes and show us what they have got
The enthusiasm they will bring to the squad will be infectious
Lets all give them our support....after all... they are our future and not these two bit nomads that reluctantly come here when there is little other option

Issue is, especially in the halves, we have no juniors ready to make that leap to first grade. The supp squad doesn't have any halves. T&T list we have Kade Reed and Lykhan King-Togia, but neither are ready at this stage. Jack Bird will be next half up at this stage unfortunately. So, I suppose you could say we're giving our juniors a chance there, even if it is one who can barely move.
