The Dragons are the slightest of favourites.
I'd expect playing the Cowboys at Penrith we will be favourites for that.
Likewise the Warriors at Penrith.
Storm would be very close to evens, this is at Penrith too.
The Panthers have lost only one game at Penrith so far this season, it's serious wishful thinking to think they'll lose all three remaining, even with injuries.

You may well beat the Cowboys - but the other games are gonna be tough.

Tell you what, if we win this week and the Dogs lose to Brisbane up there it sets up a massive game next week v Bullscium at ANZ.

We'd both be on 26 points with a chance to leapfrog them.

Let's do this!

Should be 30k+ crowd.

Go Sharkies!

If they beat the Warriors tomorrow not only will it keep us in the top 8, but Ricky's Raiders will be dead last.

Next week's game against the Dogs next week is now vital.

The loser drops behind in the race for the 8, and likely won't make it from there.

I'm already placing things around my place for me to kick in anticipation of this game.

When I get home from the ground that night I'm going to either kick something in jubilation or in depression.
Or even just to celebrate Josh Reynolds' game last night.

If we beat the Dogs next week, then we will be in the Top 8 and master of our own destiny.

Anything is possible from that point.

Technically we are master of our own destiny already, since we play the Dogs....
There are no results that need to go our way except our own!

We really needed the Dogs to win on Friday night - to stop the Broncos position and also because they will be desperate now - they escaped the media this week thanks to the Tigers dramas but a team that was in the top 4 losing 4 in a row would normally get attention.

I still expect us to lose the next two games, probably win the Canberra game and lose to the Knights (they never lose thier last home game of the year).

We will still need a lot of results to go our way

We don't play knights the last week.

Broncos play souths next week. Souths are at home so good chance broncos will lose. Don't need any results to go our. We beat the dogs we are top 8 no matter what. And if we win all our games we are guaranteed 7th spot now, storm/cowboys play each other.

very true

though we can afford one loss, possibly two and still make the 8

Though a win v the dogs will be crucial, cause you never know whats gonna happen vs Manly or the Knights or ....The Raiders

i was hopping manly would go without a loss until they meet the eels to increase our chance of a win. The bulldogs big loss also makes next weeks game that bit tougher. On a bright side at least the Storm lost.

Interesting to not that yesterday was our eleventh win of the season which equals the same amount of wins we have had in 2012 and 2013.

Whatever happens from here is all icing on the cake....

we won 6 games in 2011

with potentially 8 games left (4 round games and 4 finals games)

We could win 6 more, hence 2014 wins = 2013,2012,2011 wins combined

*faints*

With the way we have been playing lately, I'm not expecting wins against Manly, Canberra or Newcastle.
Bulldogs are also going to be hard.
We may not win again this year.

Cmon Sharkies..........for two reasons, we don't want the Warriors to win and the Sharks winning means Canberra are closer to the spoon. I don't holhd out much hope though
