Too bad for the Sharks...

If you use the ladder predictor you will see that the game against the Bulldogs is vital. But having said that, if we get on a run and win all our games we are a chance at top 4. In fact we are still mathematically able to be minor premiers, that is how close the competition is. Not saying it will happen but beating Bulldogs then getting a result at home against the Sea Eagles and we are all but home.

I think the minor premiership is a little too optimistic, but I have us running either 4th, 6th, 8/9th or 10th, depending on how many games we can win. I think 2 wins might not be enough to get us in the 8 (very touch and go and will rely on other results), but 3 wins should ironically be enough to get us a home final!

Friday night's Canterbury game will be hard, no doubt. And our win over the Raiders was pretty unimpressive. BUT. When you consider Pauli Pauli and Moi Moi being rested specifically for this game; the fact that we fully expected to win easily; the fact that we hung in there for the whole game and then came from behind to win; and the fact that Canterbury will be without Reynolds - well, a win against the Berries looks a lot more achievable.

Yes unimpressive, but the other bottom side that got flogged last week defeated top 6th side the storm. Sides are pretty close.

Hope so.
If we do that then my year will be complete...whether we make the Finals or not.
Beating the Scum twice in one year will make me so happy.
Sorry which scum are you talking about!!!????? (Yes I know we lost to one scum earlier in the year.)
I would be happy with two straight flogging wins over the next two weeks!

Ok so i don't think tonights game will impact us to much.

Roosters will stay ahead either way.

So with 5 games to go, i think we need 4 win to be a definite in the top 8, i also think that will have us finishing around 6th (so first week will be at ANZ)
3 wins will have us on the edge, and i don't see us having a couple of big wins to help the F/A greatly improve.

In some positive news, i'm hearing that Mau might be back early then expected from his broken arm.

Bring on Friday night, a win here and i really think we will finish 6th this year.

Did you see how close the Sharks were to beating the Warriors ? If it wasn't for a hogging backrower who failed to pass to an unmarked Gordon, they would have upset the merkins.

So close ...

So crucial games this week...

1. We need to beat the Dogs
2. Newcastle on a high beat Warriors at Hunter.
2. Penrith need to continue with good form and beat the Cows @ Penrith.

The last game can go either way really, but a Penrith win is the best result.

We really just need Manly, Souths and Penrith to keep winning.

I think 2 from 4 might just see us miss out. None of our remaining games are gimmes so hopefully some results go our way. Beating the Dogs takes a lot of pressure of us which I thought got to us a little on Saturday night.
