Better fullback than Milford too. Tedesco will fit in well with all the Raiders' emerging young talent.

Sticky knows how to pick clubs with strong 'academies'.

Lol paying an injury prone fullback massive overs with just 24 games under his belt is utter madness.

Keep trolling moron, hopefully your mob can punt Griffen soon and get a real coach in charge like Kearney.

Ah he is a clear talent and if he stays on the pitch he is one of the best 4-5 fullbacks in the comp.

There we go boom first big move at Raiders for stuart like he did at Eels was start the clean out and bring in big name players, only difference is that Raiders have plenty more cap to work with then what he had at Eels where there was just way to much rubbish to take care off.

Tedesco is going to be just one big block to the raiders rebuilding and becoming a major premiership force.
mate, you get that of the 12 players stuart put on his overhead projector slide, only something like 4 have actually left the club, and i think three of them were actually off contract.

the biggest cut stuart made was to the coaching staff. i think since fittler retired stuart's record is about as good as having your balls regress. he brought us norman and the pièce de résistance in nathan peats, but really he did nothing else. the addition of arthur's' was, along with peats, what i think were the two most influential things that improved our side. that's not to say there aren't a number of other factors but stuart is hardly the master coach he and some of his buddies think he is (similar to meninga with his stacked origin team).

you are probably just trolling around on the parra forum so often because you have no friends or life to keep you busy so keep returning if you like.

Hayne is made out of glass as well, what is your point?
Comapring a guy who has played 24 games than Hayne who played 5 years almost without missing a game???? His last a couple of years have been ruined by injury but this bloke makes him look like Douglas from the Tits.

My point is 800k for an injury prone and untested fullback, laughable.

It's not laughable, it's a risk with potential for a very good payoff. Just like Sandow.
Was Sandow injury prone though Poo??? Was he made of glass??? Sure he was a risk but considering how our halves stocks were it was one we had to take. Paying a bloke who has played just 24 games with a history of massive injuries that much cash is a little desperate to me. Tigers offered him 450k which was a pretty fair deal considering his injury history.

He has played about as many games as Loko in about the same time frame, Loko has shown some talent as well would anyone seriously be looking to blow the bank on him????

Tedesco is already a better player than Sandow. But instead of the risk of off-field problems he brings the risk of injury.

$450k would obviously have been much lower risk than a higher amount (duh!) but if $600k-$700k per year is correct then Tedesco is worth every penny if he plays 20+ games a year.

Obviously if he doesn't then he is a waste of money. The thing is, clubs have to pay overs to lure players away from their home club. If the Tigers were offering $450k then Canberra couldn't have gotten him with a similar offer. Luckily the Raiders have a great 'academy' so they can afford to pay overs where they have to. Likewise the Tigers have a similarly great 'academy' so they don't have to match huge offers where they have other options already on the books (in this case Rowe).

One day we will let go of players of the quality of James Tedesco because we already have better options at the club. Fans will piss and moan and haters here and at other clubs will death ride and laugh about 'overs' and all the other ignorant shit rugby league fans go on with.

The circle of life will go on.

Loko has missed a much higher percentage of games than Tedesco. Loko missed 10 games in 2011, 24 games in 2012, 11 games in 2013 and so far he has missed 10 games this year.

Tedesco missed 23 games in 2012, 5 games in 2013 and has missed 6 games so far in 2014.
