Its pretty stupid comparing the most successful club in the modern era with a club that has struggled on and off the field in the past 5 years including the last 2 wooden spoons.

At broncos we consider it to be a disaster of a season if we don't make the 8 and the coach gets sacked, meanwhile at parra losing has become part of the culture in recent years.

they'd probably go close if there was as much interest over there in league like there is in union. as it stands now (in men's sport), there's a heap of prestige playing for the all-blacks and the rest is just padding. if league shared even half the prestige of union they would be killing the nrl with two nz teams, not one.

by comparison, there's a prestige playing for the broncos in s.e. qld. the ones that get poached by raiders and other clubs generally tend to be the over-flow or the ones the broncos didn't identify for the future.
