Nothing too interesting, I do get a hint that he doesn't like Hadley though.

Speaking of Hadley, he spent a decent part of his radio show last week (in between talking about "illegal" boat people and calling Labor pollies names) giving Ch 10 an absolute pasting. Like talking about their breakfast show ratings then saying shit like "why would the NRL want to get involved with this mob?". Not only did he not declare he worked for the incumbent NRL rights holders and calls the game for them (which he is required to do by ACMA) it just seemed from out of nowhere. Orders from above at 9?

unless you make a complaint then ACMA can't do anything

Mediawatch often mentions this

Doubt it. Probably sticking up for his "mates". He has a habit of doing this over doing things for the right reason. Why do you think he has a go at Parra every day.

To give him the slightest bit of credit, everything he says about Parra is 100% correct. But as you said, he's only saying it because he's mates with Fitzy.

Parra going the way they are simply gives him ammo, in the end it wouldn't matter.

7 to get rep games, 10 to get NRL?
Poor old C9...

Nothing has been definitively divided up yet.

The only way 9 can retain everything they have is by stumping up the cash to beat what 10 and/or 7 (potentially either together or just combined) could offer.

9 are in the weaker negotiating position with both 7 and 10 so even to split the rights still means 9 are poised to pay overs to retain even a portion.

10 are in the best position as they are prepared to pay for all of it and now have the best working arrangement with Fox but they are also willing to negotiate with 7 & 9 - which pits 7 and 9 against each other for best pricing. 10 will sacrifice things like State of Origin etc if it means getting solid week-in week-out ratings.

If 7 do get State of Origin they better not have Mcavaney calling it.

Why would that happen...its not like he knows anything about rugby league anyway.

When the rights are negotiated and everything is confirmed Im sure you'll see the successful bidder. Scramble to sign up a team of experts to work on the games and maybe poach people from Nine.

If ten get it I hope they bring back Wakka the Emu!
