Spreading the Game to WA, is much like the war against Iraq.
One claims we are going over there to grow the game(WMD), but really if they do go over there, its for the extra timeslot(oil).
Good post. No, it's about getting some back in the Code War.
It might sound juvenile but I don't give a toss. We need to show the Fumbleballers that we aren't going to be pushed around by their feeble Sabre Rattling with GWS. What better way to do that then to re-establish ourselves in a market we know exists in WA?
I have said this from day one and I'll say it again: If the CC Bears truly believe they can give the game a big incentive to re-administer them into the League, then it can be at the cost of another under-performing Sydney side.
And before anyone tries it, you can shove your State Of Origin rivalry strawman straight up your pissholes. I would be perfectly content with QLD being left out if it meant the best possible outcome for Rugby League in our region.

Seven wants NRL if price is right
Seven West Media says it is still interested in gaining the television rights to at least some National Rugby League (NRL) games but only if the price is right.
Seven, Nine, Ten and Fox Sports are all currently vying for the right to screen some or all of the NRL games in the 2013 season.
Nine and Fox Sports currently share the rights to NRL games, with Nine also screening the State of Origin series.
Seven currently shares the TV rights to screen AFL games with Fox Sports and Austar.
Seven Network Television's chief executive officer Tim Worner says that while the company is still interested in the NRL rights it will not be bidding excessive amounts for them.
"We are interested in the NRL but not at any cost," he said on Monday.
Seven West Media, Foxtel and Austar paid $1.25 billion for a five-year rights deal to screen the AFL after a bidding war in 2010.
The NRL received $500 million from Nine and Fox Sports for its current five-year screening rights deal, which expires in late 2012.
The Australian Rugby League Commission, which runs the NRL, is expected to make a decision on the television rights in the next couple of months.
If you read between the lines I believe that Seven are actually saying "the bidding has got too high for us, we were only ever going to get them if no one else did".
Means its down to the two networks now, nien and seven.
You mean down to 9 and 10 dont you.
Anyway, by the language used there (its only a very basic article) I dont read that 7 are in any way disinclined to continue.
Its been reported before this that 7 are most interested in the SOO so that article simply reads to me to say 7 want only a portion of the rights (ie SOO only) and they want it for the minimum amount possible.
Staggering news right there.
News Ltd wins $2 billion tax battle v ATO
Thirty companies associated with News were involved in the court action, including The Herald and Weekly Times, Nationwide News, HarperCollins Publishers, Mirror Newspapers and National Rugby League Investments, Rugby International.
What's national rugby league investments?
The rugby league war brought the game to its knees in Australia and ran up huge corporate losses for News Ltd. But it delivered the company much of what it had sought - popular sporting product for pay TV and a seat, or three, at the decision-making table.
But the cost. The paper trail reveals the extent of News Ltd's exposure, with the company taking shares worth $560m in Super League Pty Ltd, which in turn holds shares totalling $130m in National Rugby League Investments, the vehicle for News Ltd's 50 per cent share in the NRL.
Good to see they broke away from the nrl just before this decision
And we get dudded again
The more I read of Nine's impending debt refinancing the more I hope the NRL don't end up with these guys.
