It's just prefect timing for SOO ratings to peak like this. All 3 games are going to smash the AFL GF and game 3 is probably going to crack 4 million.

1 billion should be the bare minimum we are looking for.

The fact Melbourne was up is very encouraging. If it stays consistent League will clock 1 million total viewers in Melbourne for the 3 games, which will probably be more then the entire season of GWS Sydney FTA ratings.

You cant wait for the rugby union test on the weekend hey union boy.

Little OT there big fella. Supposed to be cutting I suppose. Yeah, I am looking forward to the second test against the Welsh. What of it? I'm really looking forward to Origin 3 up here too, way more than the Wallaby/ Welsh game actually.

These numbers are perfect timing for the NRL with the negotiations. And 9 is making all the right "we've committed ourselves come hell or high water" noises as well.

Wasn't there a Fox high flyer claiming that same logic as to why AFL warranted more $ than league?

Nine Network Managing Director, Mr Jeffrey Browne, said: “The contest was as great as the concept.

wtf does that mean? This concepts been around for 30 years or something & AFL had it before that.

Game 3 of the 2012 Harvey Norman State of Origin Series will be played at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday, July 4.

Should be named after Wally or Artie.

So anyone that disagrees with you or bad mouths rugby league isn't a fan?

Breaking news champ, almost everyone here on LU has said something negative towards the game.

The guy is a union troll who defends union and bags RL in another section of this forum.

Think before you write clown.

I don't criticize League any more than anyone else on this forum and usually more constructively than some passionate Union haters when I do. I also have a lot of positive things to say about League. Some twits just can't get past the fact I also like Union. I understand the reasons for it, I just think they're peurile and childish.
