Sheehan was man of the match. Possibly the best game he has had. But can we get some sense into the selections....Ben Jacobs was a disgrace last night....skill failures galore. Dropped balls, bad passes, the list goes on. The sooner Tahu is in the centres the better.

The logic of this move? Surely this bloke Jacobs is not keeping him out of the centres? So get on with it Ewan and make the call.

Burgess is a great player Mal. I was dirty when Fisher kept picking the unimaginative Patrick Phibbs as Gregan's understudy over Burgess, a move which obviously contributed to him leaving the Brumbies. Then again, we've now got Josh Holmes who has had plenty written about him so I'm not sure who's come up better under the swap.

Can anybody honestly tell me they like Phil Waugh as a player? His lack of respect for his opposite captain is disgraceful. "I'm talking to him Jono, f**k off" - real professionalism from the scumbag. A blight on Australian rugby, and only made out to be any good because he plays for NSW. Worst #7 in Australia, comfortably.

I rated him very highly last year, though he didn't get much S14 time. He really impressed in a trail game v. Crusaders. But he seems to be more suited at the moment to not being the starting 9. I thought his performance was very poor for the brumbies on saturday.

No excuses really.

We should have beaten the Chiefs, Beale's kicking is a real issue.

Hard to understand why McKenzie is sticking with him this week, starting to miss Peter Hewitt all of a sudden.

yeah mate i hard him say that.... to be fair to him Jono is good at getting into the refs ear.

but i cant stand waugh... hes an cheapshot artist thug... everyone talks about how good he is on the ground and he always gets shown up when he goes against McCaw.

how about in the Bledisloe Cup match at Eden park a couple of years ago when he gave up and started thowing cheapshots on McCaw the whole game... what a grub...

and i hate how people talk as if he was one of the big reasons why aus stopped the all blacks in 03... ignoring the fact that they had to play twin opensides with smith(who i do consider right up there McCaw. hes the real deal) at no8 to keep a young McCaw quiet.

now not even that works...

Tahu is an absolute bust. Even Tyrone Smith and Saulio Afeaki have made a bigger impression so far.

That said, he's still got time.

I remember that. Only time I've actually wanted to see an Australian sent off actually, that was an absolute embarrasment.

Tahu is struggling but having meat heads in the centres won't help.

Am I the only one who thinks Sam Harris shouldn't be in the 5/8 role let alone playing S14?

i wouldnt count Tahu out just yet.... he needs to go into centre though... he seems lost on the wing.

the only concern i have with him at centre is his long passing game... he awesome with the tip on and off-loads but ive never really seen a long passing game from him.

if i was ewan mckenzie i would have kept on or brought in someone to work with tahu especially... someone like Tim Horan or Daniel Herbert.... the tahs midfield is a joke at present... you have a couple of rookies starting at the moment... and your only real way forward is to put in a guy thats played 3 or so games of RU in his life.... the NSW coaching staff needs a kick in the arse to let it get like this... Turinui would have been perfect to keep on for one more season to help ease these guys into slots...

Big game tonight. Obviously the Brumbies will wipe the floor with the hopeless Tahu-less Tards, so the main fascination for tonight's match will be by how much?

I'm predicting 40 points the final margin, for a score of 55-15.

For some reason the bookies have decided that it's opposite week, so the $3.00 about the Brumbies for a win is absolutely brilliant value for what is, in all reality, a one horse race.

I think that you lost touch with that a long time ago Laurie.

Remember to trim your beard bloke.

Well what a joke the officiating in that match was. It was obvious from the outset that the referee was going to favour the Waratahs, and it manifested itself several times during the night.

1. Tyrone Smith being penalised for a high tackle early on when it was nothing but a good solid hit around the chest.

2. Dan Vickerman not being punished for throwing countless punches at Mark Chisholm while he was being held by that grub Fat Dunning. In fact, despite Vickerman being the third man in, the touch judge's report didn't mention him at all! He claimed Hoiles was third man in, obviously trying to get the ref to put a Brumby in the bin.

3. Tyrone Smith being yellow-carded for what was nothing more than a good, solid hit. One of his arms went around Beale, so therefore it wasn't a shoulder charge. The fact that both touch judges raced on to report it further confirms their bias.

4. Phil Waugh not being yellow-carded for his blatant fore-arm to the head of Saia Fainga'a. The referee saw it, and if that's not a yellow-card offence then I'm not here. If a Brumby did that it would no doubt have been a red.

5. Lote Tuqiri's try when Tom Carter had clearly knocked the ball about 5 metres forward. In the end, that was the winning margin so it certainly says a lot about the match.

The positives for the Brumbies is that, apart from the first try, the Waratahs only scored when the Brumbies let them. A stupid charge down led to a try, and then of course Carter's "hand of God" forward tap to send Tuqiri on his way came from a loose ball from Henderson. The best thing about the game though was the fact that the result should have been a draw (had the biased referee not awarded the ridiculous Tuqiri try), and that despite the fact it was the worst the Brumbies have played this season, and the best the Waratahs will ever play.

That tackle by Fainifo on Tuqiri was an absolute joy to behold, put the arrogant merkin on his arse. Got a big future ahead of him, Fainifo.

Oh and just how dirty are the Waratahs as a whole, but in particular Dunning, Vickerman and Waugh? Absolute filth merchants and a disgrace to the game.
