LOL wtf it really happened and we're bringing 2011's worst coach to help us out? I mean I can understand trying to move towards an all kiwi setup but this is ridiculous.

If this is true I would jump at Bellamy.
Would attract a lot of first class players who would not be interested in playing under Bluey or Kearney.

After all, Bellamy has the coaching record not Kearney.

For bloody sure. Just get him over....pay him what he wants.

You shouldnt have "Kearney" in the same sentence as "would attract a lot of first class players". It's likely to get a lot of :roll: :crazy:#-o](*,)=;

Thats the problem with Kearney right now. His reputation has been that badly damaged, I dont think any player on the other side of the ditch would come within a mile of him as a coach.

Haha thing is people usually read, and think, before they reply. You haven't done so there, friend. Nor on a few occasions.

I for one would be happy to see SK at the warriors. It’s a beautiful story for him after what has happen at Parra. He will be better and stronger for the experience. Both of them will. Let’s embrace the change.

Screw the happy ending. We only want him if he brings a tangible improvement. We don't want any more dead wood.

3.1m for Bellamy ?

A lot of coin for a bloke with only a minor premiership on his CV

If going with Bluey/Kearney may as well toss Kemble into the mix as well

It's impossible to say at this stage if it's a good move or not. I hope it is. But at this stage, I have to say I'm just over them this year. The whole ****ing club. Sick of it. Sick of the one step forward, two back-pretty much since '95. Tired of the constant substandard shit, when the club has had more than enough time to get it together to be a Broncos, or a Storm.
The Kearney thing does not fill me with confidence in the slightest. But as said, maybe good maybe not. But then, Scurrah or Bell make me as confident as Bluey does.

Next year, season start, no doubt I'll be excited and pumped again. But at this stage just fed up and disappointed in the whole season, on and off field. From the shit performances to giving away a game breaker to the top team and paying his wages for them, the Warriors just look the Keystone Kops of the NRL.

IMO they need to ditch the 'NZ' thing as well. Stop this impression they are some sort of rep side for NZ players. The Warriors are a franchise club, based in NZ, in an Aussie comp. Not a Kiwi side. The whole management and coaching thing look like jobs for the Kiwi boys atm.

Well...yeah, but regardless of whats on his cv there's no doubt he's one of the top coaches in the NRL. He'll be commanding a decent amount of coin anywhere he goes, and us being in NZ trying to lure someone like Bellamy, we're always going to be paying overs. It's up to Owen Glenn at the end of the day to decide, it's not like he hasn't got the $$$.
