i always thought the poll should have an "anyone but 9" option.

regarding Sunday nights, the only way it can work is if they ditch Monday night. i guess when they're talking about $1b, they'll do whatever the broadcasters tell them - but i'd hate to see another timeslot that's rubbish for people who actually go to games.

Sunday nights could come in with expansion as then there's an extra game that has to shown

Thats my thoughts too. Sunday night or monday but not both on a week in week out basis. We only get 2 daytime games a week as it is

I had almost forgotten about this one. It's about Peter Sterling taking over whilst Warren, Hadley and Voss are on olympic duties but it's got an important quote from Steve Crawley -

Of concern to league fans is whether the games will be shown. ''Jeff Browne runs Channel Nine, but I do know how he thinks when it comes to the rugby league and be sure that league fans won't be left in the dark,'' Crawley said. ''I know we need to speak to the programmers and to the NRL and we are about to go through that process now. You know it could be a difficult situation if Sally Pearson is running, but don't forget we have three channels now so we have the ability to ensure that no one misses out.''
Oh so they have three channels now so no one misses out... that's nice isn't it...

PEOPLE MISS OUT EVERY WEEK!

They will show the League on the main channel into NSW and QLD, while those who want to stay with the Olympics will have to switch over.

Have the PayTV ratings reports changed to include regional viewers now? It looks like these new numbers are playing havoc with that Talking Footy guy's stats (can't post link).... Pretty funny, if RL starts beating AFL every week on his reports he will shut the site down, guaranteed

One of the pluses of having a Perth team is once a fortnight you could have a TV live 6 or 7pm Sunday game which would be a reasonable 3,4or5pm KO in Perth. Alternatively you could have a live 9pm Fox game on a Saturday which would be a reasonable 6/7pm KO in Perth or a live Friday 2nd game with a 9 or 9.30pm TV KO which again is a reasonable 6.30-7.30pm KO in Perth. Lots of options with a Perth team, all be it not every week. We need a team in Singapore or somewhere on the same time zone as Perth so we could do it every week!

Who is seriously going to take the kids to a game that kicks off at 9:30?
Not gonna happen!

Why not just have 2 teams in Perth?
