Slowtracked on sbs

I hate how the Humans vs Zombies subculture craze is keeping this show alive, theres very little left than continuously playing the same contrivances from the current point to the end

Daryl wasn't looking for the Governor, and if anyone actually listened the dad said that Tara continually went up and killed zombies on the floor above them until the dad said not to waste any more bullets.

I like how they've brought in characters from the novels.

No she did.

She went up and shot them in the chest but nothing happened, the Dad told her not to waste bullets because it'd be pointless.

Yeah I liked this too. Like most of the source material, the writers of the show went off in another direction but the basic story elements were there from the Rise of the Governor novel

Looking forward to the next episode. Been Waiting for this scene, was worried they had cut it, not as dramatic as the comics though.

It's half a season too late, but we're finally getting it.
The writers of the show seemed to have spent this season just making up for last season's finale. I mean I didn't mind the Governor's 2 episodes and I enjoyed the flu storyline, but I think this season could have been done as the last half of season 3. But oh well.

Oh shit, Governor has a gun on Hershel.
I can't expect Hershel to make it out alive on one leg, although I desperately want him to. I'm expecting Beth/Judith to die the same way as Lori in the comics, and Governor as well. Don't know who else. Rick, Carl, Glenn, Maggie, Daryl and Michonne to definitely survive.

Actually I'd like Hershel to stay alive for the tainted meat scene.
They need someone to play the older responsible clear head and without Dale you have to imagine Hershel has to survive for that reason. Plus the tainted meat was probably the best scene in either TV or comic versions.

Yeah, now you can really see why the last showrunner was fired.

In two episodes they gave the Governor everything he needed to be in order to come across as a convincing villain. They utterly failed at doing that in season 3.
