But they can't tackle mate! Good attackers but shocking defenders
Moffo, your comedic hatred of Matt Gidley is getting beyond the well worn turnstile joke and into the realms of "having no f***ing clue what you're talking about".
M. Gidley
Tackles 23
M/Tackles 1
Errors 0
Don't come to the table unless you've got something to back your opinions up.
lol, he was 1/2 arsed in going for Carlaw and Tonga ran straight over him....2 defensive errors
2 important defensive lapses
Maybe I was watching the wrong game but I can't recall Tonga running over him?
I think this is a case of blaming the usual suspects, Gidley was excellent, he set up 2 tries, saved an absolute certain try as well, and didn't do much wrong in defence, the only defensive ever I can attribute to Tahu/Gidley was the Tonga try when the defence was much too compressed, apart from that they were the only players who looked dangerous, as for replacing them with players who can attack just as well, who might that be, De Vere?
I thought Finch showed he is quite clearly not an origin player yet, his kicking game was poor, most of his kicks were straight to the QLD backs either on the full or on the 1st bounce, his passing was average. I thought Fitzgibbon had a game to forget, he did alot of work but it was a case of quantity rather than quality, and his hands let him down badly. I thought Andrew Ryan did alot of work but alot of his hit ups yielded not much territory. In my honest opinion I thoguth NSW best player was Nathan Hindmarsh, that in and away he put on Willie Tonga was classy, I mean a 2nd rower to do that to a centre, and he gave Flannery a few don't argues as well, and the try he set up for Lewis was also class, Matt Bowen didn't know what hit him.
