10,000? Are these games being held at the local park?
13,000 wtf
Just highlights the poor crowds for this great sport in England.
The 6000 he's mentioning is from when the 4N was held in Aus...Just highlights the poor crowds for this great sport in England.
here we have another one.......
2010 4 nations - australia v PNG att 11,308 (though its generally excepted that only half that number bothered turning up)
now be quiet about attendances cos the difference in average attendances for international comps whether they are held up here or down there is'nt something to brag about..its a couple of thousand at best
The 6000 he's mentioning is from when the 4N was held in Aus...
compared to what? the NRL? completely different level pal
.....and you don't have premier league football to contend with.....
in fact given the profile of RL in australia the NRL average of 17k looks small...especially compared to AFL
Geez, this bloke goes on the defensive quickly.
Compared to where it should be.
This also has nothing to do with where international Rugby League pre-sales tickets should be at.
And really, how many people do you expect to turn up to games not involving the host nation? I seem to remember the poms doing ok in the last few tournaments where the Aus v Kiwi games are concerned, what makes anyone think it'll be different this time?
where should it be?
where should they be?
I'm not sure what you would know about the sporting culture of england, however I do as a big fan of most of the sports in this country......forget football its way out in front.....but we're battling union....our average its 10k theres 13k....that gap was closer until we added the celtic crusaders with diminished our overall average....
I never claimed to know about the sporting culture in England, nor did i make a comment regarding one sport attendance figures compared to another.
