Mayer will be attempting to get the best deal and facilities. If this means Campbelltown, Liverpool, Ryde or Leichhardt compete to provide the best training facilities this is the best outcome regardless of where they are located.

The difference in rent that they would need to pay at an alternative premises I would assume.

By all accounts Concord is a pretty crap facility. There doesn't seem to be any certainty that the motorway development will impact on the current training facility - reading between the lines, Mayer might be using that as motivation to get out of there and is putting the word out that the Tigers are looking for new facilities. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up at Homebush.
