The young guys remind me so much of the older guys now it isn't funny
Tim mannah = Nathan Cayless, strong rugged prop who is leadership material.
John Mannah = Jason Cayless, has more size than his brother
Bauman = N.Hindy, big shoes to fill but has the long hair and doesn't mind his shorts being pulled down. A real workhorse

Mannah boys, T. Williams, A. Mitchell and Daniel Mortimer need to be resigned long term.
They are the future of the club

Lets just swap em for a week. NYC is First Grade and First Grade is NYC. They'd give it a better go thats for sure.

I cannot wait until he, John Mannah and Tony Williams make First Grade. Amazing talents, all three of them.

yeah I reckon Mannah #2 has a fair bit of potential too

its hard to conclusively say they are any better than others tho - NRL is still very different to New York City

The only way to find out is to chuch them into the deep.
I get the impression Tim is faster than his brother which gives him the advantage.

i wouldn't chuck them in this week tbh .... NRL is a massive difference - i'd like to see us set a platform before throwing too many of the young guys in

I agree, strider.

Although I'm not sure what game some of you guys were watching - John Mannah was in everything the Eels did on the weekend. Heck, Nasso's try which got us back in front came directly off a bust and offload by Johnny.

But I'm a Mannah brothers fan. Such awesome talents. *drools*

When we had the bulldog quartet in the late 90's blokes like Hindy and Cayless were coming along. There's a similar feel with the next crop. I also sense there's more than just 2-3 that will make first grade.

I wouldn't throw them in just yet, but definitely look at it some time this year. I guess it's always easier to include debutants when the team is winning.

I don't think peoplke are aware of this but some of these kids are actually playing 80 minutes for the first time as Jersey Flegg used to be a 35 minute a half game and although our forward pack were dominated early both matches they alwyas finished well on top of the other mob.

I have been very impressed with the forwards so far in the last 2 games....

Both Mannah boys are great, they are great in different ways. I think they will be the starting front rowers in the NRL in a couple of years.

Its very timely, as there are several old heads who will be hanging up there boots in a few years

the irony about the Mannah brothers being our knight and shining armours in a couple of years is that the 2 other props in the squad have shown as good if not, better form than those guys and they're currently not in the side.

scary isn't it?
