the irony about the Mannah brothers being our knight and shining armours in a couple of years is that the 2 other props in the squad have shown as good if not, better form than those guys and they're currently not in the side.

scary isn't it?

Who are they ?

Tim is big against the U20s but NRL is a different matter.

his Australian school boy team mate handled NRL quite easily, no reason why Tim can't.

Tim is a great prospect who has got a huge future ahead of him at Parra.

I look forward to watching his continued development into 1st grade.

With a few injuries or suspension he might be there sooner rather than later on his current form!

IMO Tim is the best forward prospect our club has had since Cayless and Ian and Nathan coming through the junior grades.

Tim Mannah has it all over his brother. John is a man mountain full of muscle yet lacks aggression.
Tim however is the solid sort with a 'belly type' but boy is he aggressive and hits up all day.

TBH people who have only seen them play on last weekends game might be forgiven for thinking Tim had a better game than it looked. The commentators called both of them as Tim for most of the match!

And just quietly, how good was the clash with the Auckland prop. I thought that as well as both played, he may have shaded them?

Johnny so much reminds me of Jasan Cayless at his age it's not funny...and we all know how Jason turned out like and worst of all at a rival club.

The two Auckland props were very good - Russell Packer and Leeson Ah Mau.

I know the step up from NYC to NRL is big but for all the raves they had on Sonny Fai I think those two will be better long term for the Warriors.

One thing to remember with Johnny is he is a year younger than many of those playing. Time is a goodthing especially for a prop.

This kid will play first grade this year. He is too good. He reminds me so much of a young Adam Ritson. Without a doubt the best front rower that has come through the ranks since Cayless.

To keep him long term we will let go of players like Fui and Junior Paulo, but so be it, he will be twice the player they will ever be.

Might as well turn this into a tribute and thank you thread.

Great clubman. Was on top of his game in 2011 when he played all 3 origin games against a star studded Qld side.

Was starting prop in the NSW win in front of 81,000 merkins at ANZ.

I think he got judged more harshly by fans than he deserved. Probably cos he wasnt some crazy merkin with an angry face .... i think he instead adopted the safe reliable play coaches wanted .... definitely no superstar, but a good player

All the best timmynator .... but dont tear us a new one down the line
