Apart from his time at the Raiders (an amazing side who my Grandma could have coached to the finals every year), Timmy has made the finals 4 times in 19 years!
Once in 4 years at Penrith - 25%.
dope in 5 years at the Cowboys - 0%. (Best season was 9 wins out of 24)
3 times in 10 years at Wests - 30%.

There's your problem.

the last time the tigers played finals Gaddafi was still in charge of Libya.

Seriously it's sad seeing young tigers fans (obviously forced by their parents) who have never known any different to the current shambles

Sheens used to be an excellent coach

success at Penrith, rebuilt Canberra after the salary cap, pass mark at the cowboys and a comp at the tigers

he used to be so good at finding and blooding good juniors
How the everloving f*ck is not making a finals series in 5 years a pass mark?

His results were;
- Last out of 10 sides
- 16th out of 20
- 16th out of 17
- Last out of 14 and,
- 13 out of 14 and sacked!

That's not a pass on any report card.
That's not even a "tries hard but struggles with the topic".
That's a "Timmy shows no aptitude for this subject. Suggest he tries Home Economics next semester".

Cowboys were hardly an nrl powerhouse in 97

Pass mark at the Cowboys.

That's certainly a take.

I'm pretty sure the only people who don't know Tim Sheens was already past it a decade ago are the Tigers.

Honestly if an armed siege of the leagues club showed up on the news I wouldn't be surprised.

The supporters (poor f**kers they are) have been through enough, only to get this shithead coaching them again.

Sheens himself probably knew it. He held out for a larger payout because he was as well aware he wouldn’t be getting another nrl gig.

Sheens nearly destroyed the club that was already struggling at the time. Don't think anyone has signed that many big names in one season to be complete flops phoning it in for a paycheck when he first came. Only memorable thing he did was give matt bowen his debut

I have nothing against the Tigers but the absolute wank by the media in the off-season about how Sheens and Benji had already turned the club around and how quickly the reporting has changed is hilarious.

2017 he joined us (HKR) and we got promoted, though tbf I could have coached that team to promotion, our owner chipped in and we kept a SL FT squad in second division.
2018 we finished 10/12 in SL
and 2019 we were heading for relegation (lost 12 players and he only brought 6 in!) before we sacked him mid season. Sheenius!
