TMM seems to be heading down the Lolohea path.. plenty of talent, definitely belongs in first grade but has other players in front of him for his preferred position. Both would be a walk up start in almost any other team. Chuck him in at centre, might do well

Sure, man. If you say it, it must be true. I'm not sure why we need these forums, it should just be a blog of your proclamations, delivered down from upon high.

He's not going to be a half with us, so I guess you better get used to the disappointment.

You are so sensitive Billy lol he just gave an opinion same as you did, Cant anyone disagree with you without getting this condescending bullshit??
Maybe we should just believe you that Carty cant organise a backline and forgo our own opinions as to not upset you? lol You keep saying Carty shouldn't play in the halves but he has carved up there more than once including the last two weeks, you say he cant organise but I disagree, as Chris said he has shown that he can whenever he plays there. I don't want him there long term but certainly he is above Soward in the pecking order, id have tmm and Moylan over him that's it. Carty has been a leader in his teams from a young age I don't think organising and directing traffic would be overly foreign to him, he certainly hasn't looked out of place the last two weeks and our attack has looked better then it has all season so really I have no idea why you would keep saying he cant organise or he shouldn't play there while he is literally showing us that he can. All you give is opinions and then blow up when someone uses actual performances to qualify their own opinion, I don't get it.

If it keeps f**king happening it must be true. Its comical your problem is Cartwright can't organise, when we don't look any less organised for him playing there, and if anything we look more organised. Meanwhile the most disjointed we ever looked was when your hero Segs was in there f**king shit up.

He's been injured, so it's a wee bit early to say he's heading down any particular path.

I like Cartwright at 6 but I think we're better served with him in the back row. I tend to agree that he doesn't have the organization and direction needed. In saying that it seemed to me Moylan played 5/8th in attack on Friday (and over played his hand several times), Cartwright played like a ball playing lock.

We have looked far more organised in attack the last two weeks than we have all season imo. Whatever the dynamic is with Moylan the halves pairing of Cleary and Carty has really improved our attack. Id put Moylan in the halves this week if it was up to me but if its not Moylan there Cartwright is the best option left available.

You can have the best organised backline in the world but if your halves aren't testing the defensive line and engaging defenders and keeping them guessing then your backline moves wont create much space at all. have two halves that will take on and play at the line is far, far more valuable then having two halves that organise well imo.

Running, for when backing up the dumb shit you say gets too hard.

Heh, if you can look at the last two games, where we labored against two struggling sides, where we only really got going when we started taking risks and taking advantage of broken play, and see those as being more organized and controlled, then there is not much for me to add, is there? You are off in your own little world were Segeyaro touched you in a bad place and RCG is shagging your sister. I mean, I'm sure it's a fun little world in other ways, but it's not one I care to hang out in too often.

So...feeling better now? Or do you need to chuck out a few more "f**ks" to ice your little internet argument cake?

I would like a few more responses out of you for more entertainment. This unorganised broken play shit is good comedy. As if our backline has looked more organised or been more effective all season. We've looked like we couldn't score a try on the opposition's line, now we actually have backline moves creating tries. Those backline sweeps against set lines featuring Cartwright at first and second receiver netting tries in the corner were off the cuff? Broken play?

Even if your nonsense held up to reality, it wouldn't be a mark against Cartwright at 5/8, because your 5/8 is suppose to be your most instinctive attacking player, not your general, not that we're lacking for that.

After you explain that shit, hopefully you can explain again how Segs has been a better hooker than Wallace.

Cartwright is first and foremost a ball player and as such in the halves is his best position. As demonstrated, repeatedly, by his performances when playing there, over the whole of his career.

He's better we he can just play what's in front of him. He's wasted needing to play structured at 5/8th. Roaming lock is perfect for him

Is Moylan good enough to cover for the lack of ball playing we'd get from FB? That's the question DWZ and Hardaker are both running fullbacks would be awesome when put into a gap but not for the sweeping plays we like

How is he locked in playing 5/8? He chimed in at first and second receiver, both sides of the field. He ran and passed when he wanted, slotted into the backline or took the line on. He played exactly as a 5/8 plays and ended up with 3 try assists, on the back of both backline moves and taking the line on himself and offloading. Its the hope that in moving him to lock that he'll play exactly the same, but we'll also have room for Hardaker, hopefully a better defensive player and stronger ball runner at FB.

No, I'm done with you. If you want to pretend as if the last two games were the first time we managed to score in the corner of a backline play all season, and then I don't know what to tell you. You can keep harping on about your big boogieman Segeyaro, who played, what 4 full games all season or something, and is now gone as if it matters anymore if you like, but that discussion is done. You got Wallace for next season as well. I hope you enjoy him.

Agree about DWZ, but Hardaker has good hands (in SL), so the jury's still out on him. Still hasn't landed in Australia, so unlikely to see him this week.
