I don't claim enough technical knowledge to know if he was at fault, but I did notice when watching the replay of the second half against the Titans that on at least two occasions on which they made clean breaks against us White seemed poorly positioned and they ran through a gap next to him. Our scramble was good enough to cover on those occasions; it might not have been against superior opposition.

As I emphasised before, we're currently not in grand final week, we're in a scrap for the eight. So why would you use Smith's history against him? Apart from the grand final losses his track record is fantastic.

I also don't believe that any of this has anything to do with why he lost those grand finals. But at the very least that has to be considered a different debate.

I remember the start of last season white played a handful of games and went really well.

I find it hard to understand how smith can come out in the media and say that players that put in a lot of hard work in the off season, will be given first opportunity to play 1st grade, yet as soon as a mr obesity comes back from injury players are dropped that have been performing for weeks.....

Forwards win matches and when one of the forwards on the bench is a fat lazy bloke that has no lateral defence, than only one utility player is needed.
