I had a dream that Parra were up 20-0.

I'm not sure what happened after that because that's when I woke up to find that I was being spit roasted by Gould and Griffin.

So basically you can’t think of anyone who should step in but think it should happen anyway.

That doesn’t make any sense.

Rather than criticising him for ‘not following through with a threat’, have you ever thought that he might have looked at the Wenty squad, realised most of them are missing a chromosome and decided to go with options that he had?

Unless you can specifically name players that should be in the squad from Wenty then I don’t actually think you have a valid criticism.
Well anyone really with Niukore as first up pick to replace Scott.

So none of the very poor Wenty squad is able to replace any of the very poor NRL squad? Hang on, Gennings from the very poor chromosome missing Wenty squad, played in the NRL team and did a very credible job. Who would have thought!

Alvaro's not a good attacking player. In fact I'd say he is poor at it. But he is an excellent defender, which is why he's in the team. As for his lack of passing game, some runs are just intended to change the position of the play-the-ball across the field to set up the next play. The metres made are a secondary concern. Obviously you would prefer a quick play-the-ball but the main thing is to try and generate a numbers mismatch on one side of the field. Runs like this are bread and butter for the Alvaros of the world. Why waste them on your better attackers? When we need a quick play-the-ball (usually the next play) we go with Nathan Brown or Kane Evans or one of the edge forwards. Anyway, the point is that if you need the play-the-ball in line with a goal post (for example), throwing an offload can be counter-productive unless the bloke catching it runs straight back up his arse. And that bloke probably had a responsibility on the next play beside playing the ball. That was supposed to be Alvaro but now the merkin is standing around wondering what to do.
Trouble is with Alvaro the defence doesn't have to worry about an offload from him. So 2 or 3 in a tackle and if holes appear in their D line no problems. Anyone following (probably no one even backs him up) will not get the ball to run thru any holes created.

What Alvaro is good at in attack (or was last year) was he was the guy backing up the hit up merkin as the decoy merkin. I haven't seen him do that this year (granted I haven't seen much of anyone do it either).
The opposition defence hasn't had to worry about offloads from anyone because our runners have no one to f**king offload it too. I think we also miss Gunco in this regard

Keep deflecting mate.

‘Anyone really’. You might as well have said ‘I don’t actually know’.

Well he did eventually add in Niukore who has been on extended lineups so far this year. And also seems pretty obvious he'll get a call up if things continue as they have been, but also from the little I've seen of him and Wenty's results thus far, it seems fairly unlikely he'll be any sort of answer to our woes. To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure what position he'd play in 1st grade (besides off the bench obviously)

Niukore has been dreadful for Wenty, mate.

I like the kid, but his form does not warrant selection in 2018 imo.

Who in Wenty are an option. Surely only top 30 NRL players will be considered at this stage. 2nd tier cap won’t be blown as yet. Nikourie, Vave, Davis, Gower and King. Any others? Elevate Stone into top 30 perhaps.

There is no second tier cap. Unless you have less than 17 top 30 players available you don't get to use anyone else. I suppose there would be consideration of position availability as well.
