Well on channel 9 last night Todd Greenberg’s comments lead towards the NRL are serious about moving 1 Sydney team. Well if it was to happen, which one would move and why ?, not because you just hate a team, what are some clubs really lacking in.

Roosters to the Central Coast is doing the rounds, but not much of a relocation, but the plus side is there are heaps of talented juniors there.
Bulldogs to Perth is another one, but i can't see that

Problem is the nrl needs 4 future clubs to really grow. Perth and Brisbane2 now, Adelaide and nz2 down the track. Can’t see it ever going to 20 again so somethings got to give.

Not it's not we have the Georges River and the Pacific Ocean on two of our borders.
Manly need to instruct their local council how to grow grass ,to handle heavy traffic.A bleeding ballet dancer would cause divots there.

Hmm.. well, a blend of those club colours has been used by the Capras in Qld Cup, and it would be pretty distinctive in the NRL..

Not too bad. Better than others! At least you have identified the huge issue in northern Sydney . Another one I heard today on ABC Radio was the West Coast Bears? Now that would definitely bring back many lost fans. I've spoken to plenty of Bears fans and they all would support a Bears team back in the NRL . Obviously same colours etc. and a link to North Sydney Bears in some way. But yes this made sense. It avoids further diluting of the rugby league top flight presence on Sydney. And gains back hibernating Bears fans. It's a win / win. But that doesn't seem to make sense these days.

I actually thought manly would relocate to Christchurch and play those 2 areas aswell, looks like sharks solved the Pacific Islands inclusion, well done Dino

Forget Fiji. Keep it simple. Sharks should be look at a public holiday game or 2 at the new SFS. Every other club takes 1-2 games away, and most have a public holiday game that gives them an almost guaranteed 30k gate every year.

Sharks v Panthers, 1967 Cup or Preston Campbell Cup (or something)
Game 1 at the SFS on Easter Monday
Game 2 at Parramatta on Queens Birthday
Tbh the matchup doesn't really matter - it could be St George, Manly, Roosters.. irrelevant. The key is to get into a big stadium and get it on a public holiday.

The 3 clubs that are sticking to suburban grounds (mainly due to distance) need to make sure they can still get some big gates above 20k, or in the new stadium era they'll be dooming themselves to irrelevancy and thus relocation or death.
