don't forget Keane

we surely wont sell the 4 of them but if we keep anyone it will be Defoe although he's been whinging in the press saying if he doesn't get more game time he's off

Harry responded by saying he'll get more game time when he starts scoring goals

they are all for sale, along with Kranjkar, Bassong, Bentley, Dos Santos, Jenas, Palacios, Hutton, Bostock and a few others.

Apparently we just signed some wizz kid from Barca, used to be captain of their junior team, Cristian Ceballo, attacking mid fielder let go by Barca as he didn't have the right "physical attributes" ie: short arse

Spurs land former Barca starlet

By Harry Harris, Football Correspondent

Harry Redknapp has already pulled off the transfer coup of the summer, sources have told ESPNsoccernet, by snatching Barcelona youngster Cristian Ceballos from under the noses of Chelsea.

Harry Redknapp has reportedly moved into the transfer market early

Ceballos, 16, was hailed as Barcelona's new superstar four years ago when he became an internet sensation, featuring in a video juggling a ball with Ronaldinho.

However, after a falling out, Barca agreed to release Ceballos, an attacking midfielder, on a free transfer and he was taken to Chelsea for a two week trial.

Ceballos trained at Cobham predominately with Chelsea's youth side, but also trained with Carlo Ancelotti's first-team. In a shock move, he has now reportedly signed a three-year contract at White Hart Lane.

Sources close to the player said: "The boy captained Barca's Under-17's and here we have a proper player, potentially one of the greats if he develops as people think he might.

"He went to Chelsea for two weeks and trained for three days with the first-team before a Champions League game such was the impression he made, but for some strange reason no one seemed to make a decision about him.

"Now, he has signed a three-year contract with Spurs and Harry Redknapp has a player who will be in his first-team within a year."

clicky

the highlighted bit is no doubt bullshit

I'm not willing to take you up on that bet. :)

No-one at West Ham your interested in? Carlton Cole could do a job for you.

I just think at the mo. your club can't handle strikers. Bent, Defoe and Pav are very good players but somehow they all struggle at WHL. I have no idea why.

You wouldn't want Cole as a solution for goal scoring woes. He has his moments but he is not a prolific scorer by any means.

If you want a target man who can hold the ball up well then he fits that role nicely.

If you get Parker you have a great buy, not sure where he fits into your structure though.

Parker would play 2nd string DM behind Sandro which seems likely as Harry doesn't want to burn Sandro out at such a young age.

Hudd is not a DM, he's probably more back up for Modders at CM or gets a run when Modders goes back to left mid, as he did in the last game against WBA.

Also Walker is being called back from loan from Villa and will be expected to be our No 1 choice as right fullback, bit of a luxury having a guy out on loan who actually played for England while he was on loan.

Charlie will stay as he is Modric's mate, Hutton is off, he walked out a few months ago.

Also latest word is the Octopus is off, Cuddicini just signed a 1 year extension and Pletikosa is off so looks like we are in the market for a decent keeper.

Most of our interest for a keeper appears to be outside of the premier league

Early days.

Focus atm is to ship out the unwanted

Arry loves English speaking keepers so I think it's more then likely this is what will eventuate

On the transfer front we should be getting slightly excited about this guy right about now.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leandro_Damião

Very good mates with Sandro

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...o-is-perfect-for-english-football-and-we-want

From our partnership with Internationale same club we got Sandro from and they are very good mates.

He's a Harry/Levy type purchase, young and reasonably cheap. Already capped for Brazil, we've been in talks for over a month and I really like the looks of this guy.

Nothing definite but very positive from reports close to those at the club.

The guy looks the goods Twiz, I think he'd be a great pick-up.
This guy or Falcao would be my two main targets to be quite honest.

Falcao would be the main striker and Leandro would be the junior, makes sense if we can pull it off and we learned from the last transfer window not to leave it too late. Apparently we are trying to get in a few early.

I wouldn't class Falcao as the so called "marquis striker" that we are supposedly after but knowing our lot we wont get one anyway.

Yeah these two would both be great pick-ups at the right price, and you'd expect neither of them would be overly expensive like the other two I'd want to get (Benzema and Aguero), Falcao might be a bit pricey but I think he'd be worth it. I haven't seen much of either play, but Falcao is an aerial threat and I think that would see the end of Crouch (at Spurs at least), and this Leandro kid does indeed look the goods.

Hey just a question, are Scott Parker and that former 'Barca wizkid' looking like we will sign them?

Ceballos has already signed (3 years), he's 18 now and will be 19 next season so he is further advanced than the article above suggests, not sure he'll break into the EPL first season as he is a Modric clone, he could make a squad player though.

Parker is apparently ours if we decide we want him and I just found out this morning that Leandro's agent has been at the Lodge for the past 24 hours so hopefully we can wrap him up pretty soon.

harry want go to Chelsea he has a great team at Tottenham he doesn't like going to big clubs

Alot of talk about this, Betfair had him favourite to take over these guys are generally in the know, been talking to Chelski since March as they not only want harry but alot of his (our) staff.

Imo harry's strength is avoiding relegation and getting mid table teams to the Europa Cup, I dont think he is a top 4 manager as he seems to thrive on the wheeling and dealing and looking for cheap players who he can build up. Managing a bunch of prima donnas (sorry Chelski fans) like Chelski's player is not his strength and for the same reasons I dont care too much if he goes as we will never be a top 4 team consistently with harry in charge, just my opinion of course. If he goes I just hope he goes very quick as it will interfere with our transfers if our management is in doubt.

He had drifted quiet alot in the betting in the last few days and he is actively involved with our recruitment atm and word from those close to the club is that he is definitely not leaving. He's also denied it in the press, which really means nothing.

My gut feeling is that he will stay.
