Agreed Twizzle, can't see him going to chelsea at all. Who's everyone supporting in the CL tonight?

So Ceballos, hopefully Leandro and maybe Scott Parker? Those are all very good buys in my opinion (based on what you guys have told me).

looking more like Harry will stay, Guus favorite for the Chelski job now

looks like Defoe may be the first striker to find a new home

Wow, I guess that really is a statement of intent, considering he is our best striker and all.....
Hopefully we get this young Leandro kid and a really good, experienced striker. Guess we have to wait and see.

I'd be willing to bet against it.

No 1 target is a 19 y o Belgium keeper, Courtois

We just dont buy players over 25 unless we get them on a free like Cudicini or Gallas.

Its not certain that Gomes is leaving at this stage.

This guy?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thibaut_Courtois

Thibaut Courtois (born May 11, 1992 in Bree) is a Belgian footballer who plays for Genk, as a goalkeeper.
Courtois made his debut on 17 April 2009, in the match against Gent.

Looked him up in the Google news section and there are indeed articles about us, Chelsea and ManCity chasing him. Apparently he is Genk's "starlet".

he can be but unfortunately he has his howlers

looks like the Friedel story may have legs, he is available on a free which is a harry type deal

really dont know whats going on here, from what I can gather he is Stipe's replacement as second or third string

Yeah supposedly its you guys and us (liverpool) looking at Friedel.

He is meant to favour you guys as we are only looking at him as a back up, whilst spurs may offer first team football.

He's solid but at 40 years old I don't think he's worth the gamble even on a bosman. I've read he needs the cash though as he went bankrupt through failed soccer acadamies back in the states.

Would we be any chance with Falcao?

between us and Gooners from what I can tell, word is he is moving to Nth London

just on keepers we are also talking to Lloris the French national keeper and the Lazio keeper which is a bit more encouraging

Courtios is still defo a priority target but may play in seconds for a year or go out on loan

We've also got a million offers rolling in for our midfielders

That would be a huge signing......Hugo Lloris, from what I can tell, is one of the best goalkeepers in the world (well he has to be if he is the French national goalkeeper) and is only 24. Would be a massive coup if we could pull that off, he would be a far better goalkeeper than almost anyone else in the EPL, but he would cost quite a bit wouldn't he.....

Shame about Falcao, but I guess there are always other targets. Thanks for the many updates on Spurs mate :)

I wouldn't write Falcao off just yet.

He seems keen on Harry and also he likes our midfield and thinks he'll get plenty of opportunities playing up front for us.

That's great to hear :) Ah I jump to conclusions too much.
You know, say we bought Leandro, Falcao, Lloris and Gourtois, along with that Cabellos kid, we would seem to look a much better First XI next season. One can only hope I guess.
