I read (possibly a load of shit, I know) that Modric is on 42,000 a week at Spurs. That is terrible for a player of his calibre, upgrade his contract you tightasses. I'd be lookin over at Chelsea too if I was him, seeing as they would offer him close to 140,000 a week.

Not definitely the new kit, but probably. Real one released tomorrow. I'm not a fan. I like the all white shirts, and shirts with collars, I just really hate that collar. Looks like a t-shirt with a few flaps on it. Open collars (normal collars) are much better. Definitely won't be buying this one. Hopefully the away and third are better, haven't bought one of them for a while.

More crap from the media, he's on about 70 or 80K a week, and he's getting an upgrade before the start of the season

I've seen pics of the new shits with blue on the collars, looks alot better than plain white.

Somebody at Chelsea has had a word in the ear of Modrics agent. Hence the quotes about wanting to stay in London but wanting Champs league.

All a bit fishy, but thats how Chelsea role. It needs sorting because City haven't started yet, Chelsea are warming up, United are getting players, and Liverpool are. Modric may be looking around thinking, yes the deadwood is going but who is replacing them, and will they bring Spurs back into the top 4?


Its a bit Rich Levy crying when Spurs are just like every other club and they tried it with United and Berbatov with a 'dossier' which never happened. Spurs have been in court about illegal signings in the past.

Chelski faxed their offer of 22mill, Levy says GTFO

Chelski get the shits and "accidentally" leak the offer to the press which is how Modric found out about it.

Thats why they are in the poo.

Ehh, they suck I reckon. ESPECIALLY the violet away kit, yuck. Poor effort from Puma in their last year, I'm not happy because the new Under Armour ones will be even worse in the next five years. The black third shirts not bad I guess. What I'd give to have Nike, Adidas or Umbro as our kit makers...

What is it with all the new jerseys every team seems to be adopting? A friend of mine commented a few weeks ago on Facebook that all the teams in the world have banded together to make crappy jerseys.

I could grow accustomed to these ones though, they aren't horrible.

My understanding is that its not our preferred site but we do need to do something about our stadium situation and fast.

Levy put out an official statement about a month or so back, I'll see if I can find it.

Wasn't the plan to knock down that olympic stadium and build a new stadium there? Was that Spurs?

I don't particularly care if your lot win the battle as i don't see the need for West Ham to move there but i am surprised at your lot fighting for it still.

Well for a start he's not on our shopping list (at this stage) and secondly I believe the buy out clause only applies to a Portugese or Spanish team, dont know why

Wont apply to an EPL team apparently

Levy seems to want Giuseppe Rossi from Villareal as Barca have dropped off the radar and harry wants Adebeyor but I'm not sure Citeh would sell to us.

Mind you the whole scenario could change next week.
