We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Blackburn Rovers for the transfer of David Bentley.
The England international made 133 appearances for the Ewood Park side - scoring 21 goals - after initially joining on loan from Arsenal in August 2005, the move being made permanent in January 2006.
The 23-year-old has now won six senior England caps after previously representing his country at B, Under-21 and Under-20 level.
clicky
good signing but we paid way too much imo, (17mill)
Nothing on Robbie Keane?
Keane is a striker, Bently a right mid
sad news for Spurs fans today, Ledley King may have played his last game for Spurs
not final, but it doesn't look good
Injury?
a realistic goal is grabbing the last champs league spot..... they have to atleast grab a euro cup spot if they cnt get that
And they picked up
Giovanni Dos Santos ( Good mexican kid from barca)
Luka Modric ( One of Croatia's Brightest talents and a good play maker)
David Bentley ( Right midfielder from blackburn and ex Gunners Trainee)
Lost Robbie Keane and may lose Berbatov But may Get Sammy Eto instead

SPURS chairman Daniel Levy has been branded a hypocrite by angry Seville president Jose Maria Del Nido.
Del Nido is still fuming over the way coach Juande Ramos was lured to White Hart Lane last year.
And he is stunned by Levy’s complaints about the behaviour of Manchester United and Liverpool in their respective bids for Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane.
Del Nido rapped: “It is hypocrisy personified Tottenham are complaining about things they have done themselves.
“They took away our manager and now they are complaining that others are trying to take their players.
“Their style is demonstrated by the way they contracted Ramos.”
Seville are still pursuing Ramos for £3million compensation after he walked out last October.
Spurs were left red-faced when a group of directors, including Levy, were discovered in meetings with Ramos while Martin Jol was still boss.
