still big IFs for me although the Turan rumour looks to have some legs

the Dzeko article is from a suspect website that just specialises in transfer rumours but it does have a quote from árry, all it really says is that árry is interrested

I would think alot of clubs may show interest in Dzeko although the price tag could scare them away. Berlu and Galli have ruled out any big time spending at Milan and none of the Milan fans are expecting Dzeko at Milan next year. Their only hope is to cash in on Huntelaar for around 15 mill then fork out another 15 mill for Dzeko but looks highly unlikely.

Taken with a Canon SX210S from the South stand.
Best part of the day was when Gareth Bale got awarded a best young player of the year by the supporters club and they showed a replay of his goal against arse....nal. The South stand started singing to the tune of Blue Moon:

Two-oo one,
We beat the scu-um two one,
We beat the scum two one,
We beat the scu-um two one
. <repeat>

I'm a fan, I buy every Spurs kit, and I'll be much happier wearing this then last years with those yellow strips all over it. No word on the sponsor yet, the deal with Mansion is over, the rumour flying around is that the new one will be Zurich Insurance. Their logo is below, would look good on the shirt I think, no red either!

Arda Turan in his Spurs strip.

http://fanatik.ekolay.net/Ardanin-yeni-takimi-Tottenham_3_Detail_32_177634.htm

translated it says he has told his family he is playing for Spurs next season.

Nothing official as yet.

"Turkish delight" favours Liverpool switch over Spurs

Galatasaray winger Arda Turan has revealed that his priority this summer is to move to Liverpool. The reds announced this morning that Roy Hodgson will take over from outgoing manager Rafa Bentez, with Turan eager to join the new era at Anfield, while Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger are also monitoring developments.

Turan has been consistently linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham the reported chasing pack. The 23-year-old admitted in January that it was his ‘dream’ to play for Liverpool issuing a come-and-get-me plea to the Kop. However, the rumours over the Spaniard’s future had cast doubts over whether the Merseyside club would make a move for the Turkish international. However Turkish reports this morning suggest that Liverpool and newly installed manager Roy Hodgson are the front-runners for the player’s signature, while concerns over the futures of Steven Gerrard, Javier Maschernao, Fernando Torres, and Yossi Benayoun continue to manifest. Spurs and Arsenal are considered to be monitoring the situation, although the Gunners are rank outsiders for the Turkish international with Spurs and Harry Redknapp considered the main challenge to Hodgson landing Turan.

Reports last month suggested that Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp was ready to offer Mexican midfielder Giovanni Dos Santos plus an undisclosed sum for Arda Turan; a deal which the Turkish giants were planning to reject. Meanwhile Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is dealing with the Cesc Fabregas situation while making strengthening his leaky defensive a priority. Turan has been consistent and vocal in his ambition to play for Liverpool, stating on several occasions in the Turkish media that if he left Gala his ideal destination would be Liverpool.

I'm reading this morning that we are signing Joe Cole in the immediate future, not sure whether to get too excited or not.

Assuming this happens we wont continue negotiations with Turan.

And just on the Turan thing, Harry wants to keep Dos Santos after his performances for Mexico in the WC.

I want to see Dos Santos too, maybe this World Cup will pull him in to line and we will see the player that he is supposed to be.

He turns up late for training, one of Harry's pet hates.

Reckons he parties too much, maybe if he matures abit this year he can get fitter and show his skills.

He has the skills but a very poor attitude, if he can mature it will just be like picking up a new player.

There is an interview Harry did on talksport, a very good one. He talks about wanting a "hole player" which is his terminology for an attacking mid, who sits in behind the striker, thats why he wants Dos Santos and Cole type players.

More pics of new Home Kit

Away Kit

Third Kit

Big, big fan of the home shirt, not too sure about the white strip around the shorts though.

Don't like the away and third, mainly because of the terrible Puma cookie-cutout collar. Lennon doesn't look to happy to be wearing it either.

But at the end of the day, the home shirt is AWESOME, and that's what I'll be buying so I'm pretty happy. New sponsor fits in very well.

COYS!
