Transfer Rumours

lol strong rumour, it was virtually confirmed 2 days ago when Dortmund announced a press conference. They both have announced it. It's a shame really, Sahin is a good player and will only have his career halted by the vulture's at Franco Madrid.

Poor BvB they'll have their team torn apart in the summer.

Virtually confirmed is not confirmed you muppet. Hence strong rumour, as in more than likely but not confirmed.

He is probably going to replace Khedira in the team.

Yes Dortmund will have to work hard to keep there stars, Kagawa, Goetza and Subotic have all been mentioned recently. Once one or two leave and the rest will be thinking about it.

Sahin has been replaced by Gundragon (sp?) from Nurenburg.

I don't know much about Nuri Sahin, can anyone enlighten me? Interested to see how he goes, all I can gather is that he is a central midfielder?
I'd imagine he would push Khedira out of the side if he is a central midfielder, it's not like Alonso would ever get dropped.

Nope it's confirmed, he came out himself and said it; it's apparently for about 10 million euros.

Drop the e-crush. Virtually confirmed is virtually confirmed when both parties say an agreement is all but reached and a press conference is called to announce said deal.

Yes and Virtually confirmed is NOT confirmed. If something is NOT confirmed i'm not going to say it is! It is that simple.

Boxhead, Sahin is a left footed central midfielder who likes to link play but attack more. You will be looking at Alonso playing deep and taking the ball of the defence and looking for Sahin higher up the pitch.

He is not as powerful as Khedira but a better attacker. So you may find him playing against the smaller team and Khedira being brought in for the big games as Mourinho likes that solid nature of two holding midfielders.

Assuming no more comings and goings of course. Talk of Drogba or Lampard going to Madrid. I doubt that though. Kaka may leave along with Diarra and Benzema. (Kaka linked to Chelsea, Benzema to Arsenal)

Bayern who?

He's a whiney prat who has been complaining about a lack of first team football for 2 1/2 seasons so he goes off and signs for Franco Madrid where he's sure to get even less football. He's very wasteful and has only eyes for the goal and for every screamer that he puts in the top right hand corner from 35 out he'll put 10 of them up in to row Z.

That's an awesome signing, De Gea will be the next Spanish national team keeper after Iker Casillas hangs up the gloves

Didn't see it posted in here, but Cristian Ceballo, a former captain of the Barcelona youth team, has signed with Spurs.

Spurs land former Barca starlet

Harry Redknapp has already pulled off the transfer coup of the summer, sources have told ESPNsoccernet, by snatching Barcelona youngster Cristian Ceballos from under the noses of Chelsea.

Harry Redknapp has reportedly moved into the transfer market early

Ceballos, 16, was hailed as Barcelona's new superstar four years ago when he became an internet sensation, featuring in a video juggling a ball with Ronaldinho.

However, after a falling out, Barca agreed to release Ceballos, an attacking midfielder, on a free transfer and he was taken to Chelsea for a two week trial.

Ceballos trained at Cobham predominately with Chelsea's youth side, but also trained with Carlo Ancelotti's first-team. In a shock move, he has now reportedly signed a three-year contract at White Hart Lane.

Sources close to the player said: "The boy captained Barca's Under-17's and here we have a proper player, potentially one of the greats if he develops as people think he might.

"He went to Chelsea for two weeks and trained for three days with the first-team before a Champions League game such was the impression he made, but for some strange reason no one seemed to make a decision about him.

"Now, he has signed a three-year contract with Spurs and Harry Redknapp has a player who will be in his first-team within a year."

If his potential is anything to go by, could be a great signing in the future.

And apparently Scott Parker and 'Leandro Dami' look likely, hope for the best.
