It's a day old but Illaramendi to Madrid.

That means they've now bought two of the up-and-coming big three in Spanish football (Isco's the other).

Big 3? Never heard that term before. Also €32 mil for a bloke who's 23 and still uncapped at international level, one has to question the price tag. Isco is a fantastic signing, not do sure about Illarramendi especially considering the price tag

Mendi basically took sociedad to the Champions League, in a few years he will be beast for Madrid. i assume by big 3 hes talking about Isco,Mendi and Deulofeu

Sociedad had a few guys who contributed quite a bit not just Illarramendi, Claudio Bravo had quite a good season in goal, Inigo Martinez, Antoine Griezmann, Carlos Vela and Imanol Agirretxe all had very good seasons too. No doubt he's a good player but is he worth twice as much as Paulinho for example

I see Thiago has exchanged a bench at the Camp Nou for one that will have an even bigger dent in it from his arse at the Allianz.

He's no hope of being in their best 11. None. Schweiny and Martinez are locks. And then you have Ribery, Gotze, Muller, Kroos, Gustavo, Robben ... Geez they're the new Galacticos with all the money they throw around.

Oh and I didn't even mention one of my favourite young players Xerdan. It's a tragedy how his career is being wasted on the bench. He should be a star now, not in two years.

40 matches? That surprises me. Presumably in place of Robben.

He still won't get a look in for the big games if you're full stength. Great succession planning though for when Frankenstein reaches his use by date.
