I don’t know what all the fuss is about you guys Mary said we’re gonna win the comp so it’s all good!! Isn’t it???
Hmmm...dunno..it might mean something.
But was it a 1999 premiership winning polo they gave him at half time in the GF that he just wont let go of.
Going to the Gold Coast in three weeks, may see Neil here. What’s Anthony Griffin up to lately? What’s Neil Henry up to? What’s Geoff Toovey up to?
Surely there are more options than Trent Barrett????

The likes of O'Connor is a real problem on the Board. Let's face it we need a good cleanout. SGI needs to be a club that has people on the Board who act only in the best interest of SGI on and off the field.I know we need a coach with runs but non will come across. Our club won’t allow a coach to bring his own staff with them. It is Groundhog Day all over.
If we want someone of an old boy go get Jason Ryles. I know people will howl me down but I spoke to someone recently who told me Ryles is up there in the coaching smarts. And he has had the best teacher in Bellamy.
Other than Ryles approach Brian Smith give him 2 years to fix us up and get rid of him. Now there is 1 person who will get rid of dead wood without a thought of what Mr O’Connor or whatever that delusional human name is.
Cue the following statement "after an exhaustive worldwide search of applicants, T. Barrett was deemed to be the most suitable candidate available....He understands the brand and Lives and Breathes Red and white "....LOL
He did not like Wayne Bennett at all Wayne told as it is and O’Connor didn’t like itThe likes of O'Connor is a real problem on the Board. Let's face it we need a good cleanout. SGI needs to be a club that has people on the Board who act only in the best interest of SGI on and off the field.
Don't think O'Connor is still on the board as Win people would have taken his spot. The likes of O'Connor is a real problem on the Board. Let's face it we need a good cleanout. SGI needs to be a club that has people on the Board who act only in the best interest of SGI on and off the field.
Our halves perform poorly when our forwards are dominated. Mary's game plan relies solely on forward domination and when that does not occur, our whole backline falls apart; including the halves. In all fairness widdop is guilty of the sideways crab too
Leilua at centre?
Yeah that isn't going to work.
Speed.I can't see how he'd be any worse than Aitken.
Tackling?! Aitken?!
You make a good point, but I disagree..
A plastic cone would do better than Aitken at the momentI can't see how he'd be any worse than Aitken.
Millward could never competently handle such a big task. For 2020 I would be happy if we could go for this top 17 and a mix of juniors and good backup first graders for reserve grade:Mary is dreadful but I can't imagine Barrett being any better. Though he would be able to provide his own furniture, if required.
Anyway, no coach can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and our back 5 is the worst I've ever seen. For me it's sprint training for Luce (who becomes a centre), let Rava, Pearson, Aitken and Lafai go and go after Kyle Turner, Hymel Hunt, Kurt Capewell and Matthew Ikuvalu who are all off contract, I believe, Not world-beaters, but better than anything we've got right now.
So we look something like : Lomax/Dufty, Saab, Leilua, Hunt/Capewell, Pereira/Dufty, Norman, Hunt, Vaughan, McInnes, Lawrie, T Sims, Frizzell, K Sims + Ford, Host, Kerr, Turner
