That will certainly tie up all the available halfbacks. We can work on collecting fullbacks next year.

Only at the Dragons do we look for the complicated signing with the norm criteria of being an ex Dragon player who in this case thumbed his nose at us for understandably more money. Then we beg them for a return under the same coach that was happy to see him walk throwing all our eggs in one basket.

How about for a start sure up some decent centres and wingers and some more middle forwards that have leg speed eating up metres.(not keg legs Merrin). We have only 4 ATM, K Sims, Vaughan, Lawrie and also wasting Frizell in the middle who should be on the other edge to Sims running of timed passes from halves into gaps. Or give some of these young lions more time.
I like Host but for me is superfluous to our needs as not big enough and Frizz should be in his edge position... especially if JDB comes back in a year or so.

We really don't need either Merin or French. Now that James Roberts has signed for Souths, Millward should direct his attention to Martin from the Dogs and DWZ from Penrith. So if that can happen we could add 3 additional players to our top 30 squad for 2019:
Martin - backrow
DWZ - centre/fullback
Saab - winger

Our season is over so give these 3 plus the likes of Timm and Kerr the remainder of the season in first grade.
