At least he makes his own team start list.

Unlike TLL

Galls form was great before he was naughty.

Some of what you guys are naming is a threatening NSW side.
If the right sides are picked this could be an extremely competitive series, especially since the first game is in Melbourne!

I assume that the squads were on their way to being released on the weekend.
Morris and Stewart should be replaced with a couple of other enthusiastic players.

Seriously Victor, Gallen only got two weeks, before that he was is good form.

You talk up TLL, and FTR I rate him, but he does not start, why is that?

Surley if he is good enough for origin he would be starting.

All the players in the 40 start for thier clubs.

I do not see every Canberra game, but if the guy is in such good form, why is he not starting.

Do you think Qld will pick players who cannot get a starting berth in thier club side?

Starting has nothing to do with good form angry, where in any rulebook does it say that an origin player has to be a starter with his club side???

I just think its time they went with different players for a change, rather than the same old who have lost the last 3 series.

That's a strong team, but if that's what you view as our form side so far then we're in trouble. There are several blokes in that side who aren't the form players in their position. David Williams for example, has only played one game this season. Hardly enough to be considered one of the form wingers.

- I hope to God that they don't play players out of position [e,g Joel Monaghan or Jarryd Hayne onto a Wing as they are short of Wingers].

I dont mind your team Goldthorpe, but Haynes best position is wing and Monaghan has played plenty of wing very well.

Id change my tune if he can keep the form up, but what are you all going to say if he goes mia like last year??

Theres plenty of time yet to see see if his form continues. I think the City-Country game this season will be a cracker and actually mean something. Alot to play for with NSW's "changing of the guard", especially in the backrow.

Why does Tongue need injuries to be considered??

don't get me wrong.. i rate him. but i cant see the selectors choosing him ahead of the several other forwards. canberra are sitting near the bottom of the ladder so if they can get a few wins together, he will be a real chance

Please pick the following players:

Jarryd Hayne (Eels)
James McManus (Knights)
Anthony Quinn (Storm)
Michael Robertson (Sea Eagles)
Jamie Lyon (Sea Eagles)
Joel Monaghan (Raiders)
Paul Gallen (Sharks)
Ryan Hoffman (Storm)
Anthony Watmough (Sea Eagles)
Josh Perry (Sea Eagles)
Michael Ennis (Bulldogs)

As a Queensland supporter I'd be very happy with any of these in the team. Inconsistent, prone to error or brain explosions, overrated or not intererested ... bring it on. Oh and you can add Willie Mason.

If a QLD suopporter wants NSW to pick him, you know hes sh*t.

So a team's performance rates an individual's chance of making Origin?
Bloody hell NSW shouldn't have picked Johns in 05 then...
