hahahahahahahahahah.
It took me 5 episodes but I don't like him in the role.

I only got so far because I tried so hard, Ray. But in the end? It doesn't even f**king matter.
Good episode, best of this series so far. Still not convinced by many of the lead actors (Farrell is good) and I still get confused but the constant jumping around from scene to seemingly unconnected scene.
Farrell is good, Taylor Kitsch has been the surprise package IMO though, I'd never rated him as an actor before this series.
Well he has a certain intensity but imo he's pretty wooden. I don't know if it's the poorly written character or what.
I've been enjoying it, not as great as S1 obviously but on its own it's still pretty good.
My thoughts as well, Vince Vaughan is totally miscast in the role.I've been enjoying it, not as great as S1 obviously but on its own it's still pretty good.
I've read some season reviews and they have said the ending is pretty poor. This season is very average. Still I would like it to continue more so in the hope they can produce another season one quality show.

The flashback scenes in the party house felt like a throwback to Season 1. I think this show loses a bit of its appeal if it's completely lacking the supernatural (or at least suggestions of), which so far it seems like it's going to be.
The quality of acting to the last season is utterly sub-par and to be honest the only person who was properly cast was Farrell.
Oh and the practice 'knife fighting' was laughably bad in the last ep.
disagree with these comments but art is subjective anyway. I've enjoyed seeing Farrell and Kitcsh, and even McAdams play dark characters. And most of Vince Vaughn's problems has been the way he's been written. He is a boring character who no one is invested in as it is, let alone running around saying shit like 'we don't have the bandwidth for that' and whatever else he rambles out.
Season 1 was convoluted, but it was compelling and the actors carried it. Season 2 is even more convoluted, without a compelling story and actors that look lost in their roles.
Pretty sure there are more believable ways to convey a damaged, independent lead than having a block of wood in an LA apartment which is used for stabbing.and why the hate on the knife fight practicing?
